Nice screen. Its close if not better than the black diamond. I would say much better. The BD gives me fatigue after a while with the sparkling and hot spotting. This screen does the same job but with much less sparkling. Still has a slight hot spot but no bother unless its a solid white back ground you never notice it. I had to get rid of the bd just too much roughness to the picture. I never feel there is a roughness to the picture. After watching the bd for a while then watching my lcd it would just look so smooth with the bd looking way rough like a rough surface to the picture. This is very convenient for a roll down so when I just want to catch the news for a few minutes I have the flat screen mounted behind it. It does have some slight creases in the material from being rolled up a I guess but after a while they get un noticeable. Great screen! I have white walls and ceiling and use this in a living room/ kitchen area. Epson 5030ub projector.

This is the first bad review I have written and it took a while for me to get to this point. I purchased the item new in November and it worked great until January when the motor would not retract the screen. I t would still go down and stop but would not go up. Defects happen and I understand that but the fact that my facilities director and I have made multiple attempts to get a hold of anyone to help trouble shoot and or order replacement parts goes completely ignored for three weeks. This honestly is a last ditch effort to get anyone's attention at Elite Screens to offer some sort of assistance. I have filled out warranty information and submitted pictures via their website and still nothing. I do not recommend purchasing any product from Elite Screens as they will not support it.

As a long time Amazon buyer, I believe this is the first review I have ever made. That being said, I want to share my experience with this screen.In terms of the projected picture quality, I love it. In terms of the reflective material and ambient light rejection it’s amazing.I would like to warn of a few issues to give notice for future buyers. For reasearch purposes, I will mention I installed my 120” screen via the brackets being suspended from the cieling as indicated in instructions.First thing to mention is that that was a dot of adhesive about 2-3 mm in diameter near the center of the projection surface. Doesn’t sound like a big deal until the projector hits it and it created what equated to a huge ‘dead pixel’ effect right in the center of the screen. At first I worried this was a permanent issue but eventually got brave enough to attempt scraping the dot off myself and it luckily worked out as planned.The only other issue was that whatever paint or material they used to spray on the ‘black drop’ area of the screen always wants to stick once the screen is retracted. This means every time the screen is lowered after more than 8-10 hours, the screen has a hard time doing so.I have to stop and start the lowering at just the right timing to help prevent it although that still doesn’t really work.I called tech support and the answer was to give the whole screen a wipe down with and specific solution of soapy water in a very specific manner to try to wash away the residue left by the factory process.This means I have to risk ruining a brand new, very expensive screen to get it working as it should fresh from the factory. Maybe the thinking is that this is chump change to the majority of buyers who drop the dough to buy this screen. Not sure but either way, that should be rectified.I bring these issues to light because future buyers may think it is an isolated instance and I wish to help in that case.Customer service was very helpful and did their best to assist.

This works like a charm. Perfect for my room. Easy to install with only a little help. Only complaint is the cord was a little short but this was easily replaced.

Tabs come unglued from strings only after a few uses. Doesn’t seem to tension like it did the first time. Less than 25 uses.
