Great Storbes
Love these strobes. Never had a problem in the 2 years I've owned them. Getting heavy usage from them with no functional issues. The one thing I'd like to see improved is a better way of channeling the targeting light when using with the snoot...It's barely visible.

Never worked!
I bought the strobe and after using it for 2 days it just stopped working. The light was first not so strong until it did not work at all anymore. I send it back, got it "mended" back AND tried the following season again. Same issue - it worked for 2 dives before it started exactly the same issue. Second season with NO strobe. I send it back again and since then NO ANSWER. I am trying to get anyone to at least let me know how to get hold of anyone in the department - nothing.Would never buy this strobe OR in that shop again. If you get a strobe that works - maybe fine. But if you have an issue - forget to hope for help.Never again!

great performance, very bad reliability
Great performance, very bad reliability . I have had two of these ys-d3 2 strobes go bad under warranty which is less than a year old. I really like the way they perform. We just can't expect them to last more than a year or two :-( . Get the extended warranty if you purchase these. You will need it unfortunately

These are the best and brightest strobes
These are the best and brightest strobes. I went black water diving in Florida and had to have very very bright strobes to do that at night and I got great pictures because he’s lights are very bright
