The very first time this was set up it one of the ends of the top pole cracked right off while assembling. Made the entire thing useless, we tried to use the bottom pole on top but it was then very unstable without the bottom pole, the company said i waited to long to contact them so i got no help, seriously though, don't buy this, spend a few more dollars to at least make sure you get something that makes it thru the party!

Bought two of these for craft show booth, to go with an earlier unit of a different brand. These will handle my 72" drape panels without sagging in the middle, whereas the first brand I bought required me to make a center pole support. I may get another of these and toss the older model. Go together easy, overall much sturdier than my first purchase. Sorry I don't remember the brand of that one.

This backdrop is very nice. I’m a event planner and had one similar to this one but this one is even better because it’s much Sturdier plus this one is a lot cheaper and better.

At first glance the product seemed to be just as described and descent quality for what you paid. I put it together at my event and at the end of the evening when I went to take it apart, two spots on the side poles had basically become fused together. After much trying to twist them apart, I ended up having to put it in my van in whole pieces. It is still sitting in the garage stuck together. I recommend splurging for better quality.

Before purchasing this product I saw a lot of complaints regarding assembly and quality. I am now apart of the negative review committee because this item came to me in a used beatup package as well as missing parts and no manual. It took me 30 minutes trying to understand how to assemble the product as well as doing some YouTube research.I discovered how easy it is to put it together however, none of the parts matched which is why it took me so long. It seemed like someone purchased this product before returned it and it was sold as new. Parts of the material were broken and bend. If this is what the actual product look and feels like then the build quality is pretty bad.

I bought this product to install a banner for an event. The quality is not bad, it was easy to assemble and its black which blends with dark backgrounds. However, I could not even use it.-When at maximum length (10x18), the top bar seems to glide as there is no central structure. If you hang a banner with pockets in it, depending on how the bar is extended, it starts falling apart. This was the first problem.-Second, since the bars are extendable, they need to be locked into place. TWO of these bars got stuck and it was completely impossible to close them down.-So there I am, 2 days before the main event, with a structure I cannot use and I cannot transport in the bag because two of those darn tubes decided to get stuck.I guess that this stand is amazing when it comes to smaller banners, but never use it 10x18, it starts wobbling completely, even if you put sandbag weights on its legs, the top part seems too fragile for support. This stand should have come with a central tube (and hopefully one that does not get stuck completely when extended)

I bought 2 different stands to use for the same event. This stand was by far better quality. It is a lot sturdier than the other stand I bought which has your typical tripod style legs. I was able to hang navy curtains on this stand and attached a smaller flag to the front for my son's Eagle Scout Ceremony. Did not even have to weigh it down. Ive attachec pics before and during the event.

One star removed because once the top pole is fully extended it becomes very weak and shaky. If your back drop is less than 10ft wife, this set is perfect. Set up is easy. Easily adjust the height.

A little bit harder than what I'm used to but it makes my setup look clean, professional and safe. i wish it came with another base at the bottom so it looks more durable.
