I first fell in love with these shoes when I bought them at Nordstrom. After wearing them down, I decided to order a new pair via Amazon. Since I knew my size, I wasn't concerned about it not fitting.After receiving my pair, they felt a bit snug. I tried to walk around in them thinking that it might just need to be broken in. It was a bit weird because I distinctly remember not having to do that with my last pair, but I decided to give Amazon the benefit of the doubt. After a few days of "breaking them in," there was no give. I took them to a local Nordstrom and asked them for a 7.5 of the same shoe. After comparing them, the associate and I could EASILY tell these were fake. The shoe associate (very familiar with the brand) even assessed and confirmed they were not real.If Amazon wants to be seen as a marketplace for fashion goods, they cannot let things like this happen. It is completely unacceptable that I pay the price for Steve Madden's but receive Joe Fadden's instead...I'm sorry, not ok.If you're okay with this, go a full size (not a half) above your shoe size for these. Otherwise, go into a reputable retailer like Nordstrom and pay extra for QUALITY and AUTHENTICITY.

I purchased this item in my normal shoe size (7.5) which was about a half size too small and the shoe itself was stiff and generally uncomfortable. I was nervous about how many blisters I was going to get trying to break them in even in my correct size. I debated exchanging them via Amazon, but I wanted to make sure I was happy with the fit so I decided to visit the store and try them on in person. When I went to Steve Madden, I asked an employee how small these shoes ran and she said they were true to size. So I told her I wanted to try on the shoe at 7.5 and 8, expecting the same experience I had with the Amazon 7.5 shoe. It was not. Not only was the 7.5 a perfect fit, but it was VERY comfortable and not stiff at all. I wore them home (am currently wearing them) and I do not have to break them in at all. Again, they are extremely comfortable and I highly recommend the shoe from the actual store. Maybe I missed something in the fine print, but there is no way the shoes from Amazon and the shoes from Steve Madden are the same. Mind you they are the same price, so DO NOT purchase this Amazon shoe. Go to the actual store and get your money's worth with a great shoe. Not the crap they'll send you.

I am so annoyed with this purchase. I first ordered the blush pink in a half size larger than my normal shoe size because I had tried on my daughter’s pair and knew that the larger size would fit perfectly. When I received them, they fit beautifully and just As my daughter’s pair fit me. I loved them so much in fact, I then ordered the black pair in the same size.... and the same size 8 in black fits like a Size 7! So tight in fact, they gave me blisters. I have not been able to wear them! If the black and the blush are purchased in the same size, they should fit exactly the same! The only difference is the color...so why is the actual fit completely different?!!! My daughter’s black size 8 pair fit me great. Why does my black size 8 not fit at all?! Obviously there are size variances in these shoes not only between colors but even the same colors have inconsistent sizing. so folks, you CANNOT trust the size labels on these shoes!!!!!!!! I’m so disappointed in wasting my money on the 2nd pair! Boooo Steve Madden! You can do better than this!!! Or is it possible that they Are knock offs? Really Amazon? Would you sell knockoffs!!!!????

Don't order these unless you want blisters & sore feet. I feel like these are a knock off, tried them in the store & they felt amazing, the ones I got online don't feel the same. Also the sole of the shoe is not white like in the picture, it's like a weird cream & looks dirty!

I’ve been eyeing these for a while & finally bought them in black, size 8 1/2W. They came in a Steve Madden box so, I’m not sure about the knock-off issue but, do have my concerns that they may be? The length & width fit fine, almost a tad big in bare feet. However, there is absolutely NO support on the footbed at all! I have a bad back, plantar fasciitis & balance issues and, I need good support. So, now on top of the purchase price I must by some kind of gel foam inserts in order to wear them comfortably.I wear a lot of shoes well known for good foot support & alignment & am used to a comfortable & supportive shoe. I bought these for the style & thought being from Steve Madden that there would be some sort of support!?! Maybe that’s part of the reason for the knockoff issue???Love the style but hate the lack of support. It’s like walking on concrete! Thus the low star rating. They were sent back within 2 days. Now I guess I’ll look in the high end department stores or the Steve Madden shoppes for the shoe and see if the foot bed has any cushioning. May cost more but, if I get the comfort & support I need it will be worth it. It’s a shame these have been so bad for so many customers!

I own a pair of these shoes in green that I bought a year ago, and I love them and get compliments on them so I wanted this beige pair very badly.First I ordered a size 9, which is my normal size for the past 25+ years and the same size that all of my shoes are in. Not only did it not fit like a 9, or an 8, I couldn’t even get my foot in the shoe it was so tight. I checked the sizing again just because I thought maybe the wrong size was sent. Nope. Extremely small.So I return the product and order a 9 1/2. That arrives today, and I can get my foot in but my toes are touching the end. What?! Are these real Steve Madden’s?? I mean I know that that has come into question with previous reviews, and now I am asking myself why the sizing is so completely off, and why are these so stiff in comparison to the ones I already own.It is very unfortunate because they are very cute and exactly what I was looking for as a slip on casual shoe, but I warn you clearly clearly the sizing is very very off. I do not have odd feet, and I do not have sizing issues with any other of the hundred pairs of shoes that I own.

These where FAKE Steve maddan I know this because I already have a pair like these I purchased because I wanted an replacement now I’m waiting for my refund!

Disappointed as they are not comfortable at all. The ankle area of the shoe is so stiff! Even with plasters, I cannot wear them! My ankle are destroyed... It is a shame as they look gorgeous but they are so uncomfortable...

We should have read the reviews first, as the size my wife usually orders didn’t fit. Most of the reviews say exactly that. However, the return/exchange went vert smoothly, and they paid the shipping. They even sent the new pair out before they received the ones we sent back. Once the proper size came, they were comfortable, and exactly as advertised.

I generally wear a size 6.5 womens shoe but they didn't have that so I got a 7 and they fit like a glove! They're just the right size and I absolutely love them. Super functional & fairly comfortable for Steve Madden shoes. Not really a better deal than if you were to buy them in store when taking into account the price of shipping, but works out to cost about the same either way.
