This keeps my drink cold for hours! I love it!!

I own this is the original 20 oz “home” color. It is simply amazing. There are no contraptions or spare parts and it keeps my drinks the exact temperature at the time I poured it, for a shockingly long amount of time. I poured tea in it and forgot about it for a whole day and it was still hot by the time I came back to it, more than 6 hours later. I know everyone loves the zojirushi bottles which are very good but I just prefer this one because it doesn’t have small parts to clean that then trap the flavor of your last beverage. Simple. Easy to carry. Easy to clean. Very effective.

I’ve had the 24oz Tekeya actives insulated bottle for a while now and noticed a few things I didn’t like about it. It didn’t fit in my car cup holder, small cap gets funky/moldy and it’s such a small space that it’s hard to clean, and I like a wider mouth so was always unscrewing the entire cap off. So decided to try this one bc it’s just one leak-proof screw off lid on a wide mouth and no little crevices where it can get funky. Perfect!My only complaint is that the threads aren’t designed/engineered well so screwing the lid back on often takes several tries. It’s a pretty big complaint but not enough (yet) to return.

Got one if these because I liked the stainless steel bottom on the cap, only silicone or stainless would come in contact with your hot drink. But when mine came, I was disappointed to see plastic!! I cant find any pictures on their website about it. Gf’s 16oz wide mouth cap for reference.

(Pictured: Old lid style on left. Current lid style on right.) The lid is all plastic. In the old design, the lid had stainless steel on the inside, where the water would touch it. My main objective with a stainless steel water bottle is to get away from plastic leaching into the water/beverage.(It is BPA free, but while BPA has received almost all the attention, studies have shown that all plastics leach especially if the fluid is hot. They leach estrogen emulating chemicals, in particular. The way I use water bottles, with them thrown into a backpack, for example, there is nothing that exempts the lid. It's not like it doesn't touch the fluid. I tried to post a link to a study but links aren't allowed; you can google easily though.)

I bought these 4 tumblers for gift and one in this color has a scrach on the Brand logo. I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO EXCHANGE so this situation is totally disappointing.
