Exactly what was needed
I actually ordered this for my hubby and I'm guessing this was exactly what was needed for what he was working on. The price was great and since I heard no complaints, I'm also guessing he had no problems installing. Lol

Positive lock
The lock works well. The handle does not twist the core wire when turned. I have to wonder how long the swivel will last. It is just a crimp in the core wire with no intemediate bushing between the core and the handle. A vinyl cover would have been nice but I knew that when I ordered. I put a piece of tubing over the one place that it rubs. It has a solid core wire so it will work as a push/pull cable but is not well suited to bends that are not sweeping. Pushing the handle very hard will flex the whole cable so you can't push hard with it.

Locks tight and slides smothly.
I have not installed these yet. But they seem to lock very solid then unlock and move easily and smooth.
