How many boxes of popcorn are in this? and how many bags per box? I cannot figure out how much popcorn one would get with this.

2 per box and you get 4 boxes so 8 total. I bought these, which were very expensive and one box wasn't even the pour-over it was plain popcorn. Buy from another seller if you can.

What is the expiry date ?

2/2018, when i ordered it 12/18. So 10 months past expiration 😡

Know any way I can purchase the butter packets or equivalent anywhere?

I saw a ton of different bottled popcorn “theater” butters when I was searching for the Pour Over Theater popcorn, so maybe try searching for “pour over popcorn butter” or “theater style popcorn butter”? In case you need it for reference (because I love this popcorn butter too!) the ingredients are: soybean oil, butter, salt, less than 2% of: natural flavor, color added (paprika, beet juice), citric acid and rosemary extract (natural preservatives)

Can you purchase just the pour over butter separate?

Yes, it is available. I recomend the "Amish" brand available on amazon . I like that one the best, taste better to me.
