Very surprised at the quality and function
This little bike is stout and well constructed. Easy to assemble as everything is included. This is what I learned. The lower you sit the more you push it away from ya. Hence all the straps and mats. Recliner was a no go cause of the angle and swivel. My adjustable drum throne did the trick and now I sit straight up so I’m putting very little pressure down and no need for mat or straps. Also it helps to raise your thighs instead of pushing so hard and space your feet evenly. After setting the tension correctly Mine is perfectly smooth real solid and silent.

Better than I expected
I'm an elderly woman who gets almost no exercise. My cardiologist suggested I get a pedal exerciser, so I ordered the least expensive one with decent reviews. The good news is that the problems other customers pointed out didn't happen to me. It was easy to assemble. I have it on a carpet so it stays in place. It operates smoothly. The biggest drawback so far is that it's so easy and comfortable to use that I overdid it. A few minutes of use while watching tv left me with aching thighs. I assume this will get better as I tone up, but I'm sure it's a sign that it doesn't take much to have an impact.

Great machine to help you regain your stamina and strength
The pandemic plus an injury means that I lost quite a lot of my strength and physical conditioning. This machine is helping me regain strength and stamina, safely at home. I am not ready to go back to the gym until the Delta Variant is on its way out. And walking outside can quickly exacerbate my injury. Using this pedal machine at home means I can get a cardio workout without exposing myself to covid AND without re-injuring myself.I like using the display to keep track of how much time I'm working out. It's easy to use and reset. Although it makes a sound while using it, I would not call it noisy. It's a soothing, quiet whir or woosh.I don't think this machine has a fly wheel as stated in the listing. I'm not sure the tension knob really works. But for the price, and with my very basic needs, I'm happy with the purchase. I would spend a bit more on another machine if I needed more features.

This is a great small exercise bike, designed to be used sitting down.
I've just put this "bike" together. All you have to do is bolt on the feet, and install the pedals. It comes with the hex wrench and screws for the feet, and two wrenches for installing the pedals. It is ready to go. If you are going to use it where the floor is smooth, you need to add the provided straps with Velcro. You can scan the instructions' QR code to access the installation video, which is just for the Velcro. My one problem was that the instructions for the Velcro didn't really explain the goal of adding Velcro straps to prevent slipping of the unit across the floor. You can install straps to the base of the bike, but I had to try installing them (very easy to do, and to do again) over and over until I finally figured out what the goal was. If you use the "bike" on a rough surface (like a rug or carpet), you probably won't need the straps. But save them in case you might need them. The bike comes with an extra pair of straps, and pads. The knob on the front lets you set the resistance you need for exercise.A AAA battery is installed, and there is a photo to show you where it is. It has a small LCD screen with the numbers you need. It comes on when you start to pedal, or you can push the RED button to access the data. The manual is just to help you get the bike set up. There is no information about how to use the bike past how to put your feet on the pedals. Not even suggestions about how to change the resistance, past plus and minus symbols on the resistance wheel. I guess they feel you should know the use of an exercise bike.I feel this is built to last, as it seems well made, and weighs a lot (it has a built-in carrying handle). It is, of course, made in China, but I won't hold that against it. One last thing... this is made to be used sitting down. DO NOT try to use it while standing, not even if you have something to hang on to.And one last thing: The price is fantastic. I would have thought because of its weight, it would have cost twice as much.

It's going back
I figured that based on all the good reviews about how easy this item was to assemble, that I would have no trouble putting it together. The parts come with an Allen wrench and another wrench that, as far as I could see, had no function as far as assembling it was concerned. The Allen wrench put the bottom supports on with no problem, but when it came time to put on the pedals, the right one was able to screw on with a lot of work on my part--the threads did not want to enter the opening--but the left one was completely impossible. When I finally got it on the unit, it froze halfway up and wouldn't attach any further, so I had a pedal with the screw sticking halfway out. We tried everything, even a conventional wrench to get the pedal off, but it was hopeless. This is going back, and I am sorry to have to send it, because it looks like a nice machine, although there are no instructions on how to operate the computer that comes with it, and the tension knob tells you nothing, either. I will spend the money and get a more user-friendly pedaler, because this is not it!

Why did I wait?
I bought this so I could do in home rehab but I find myself just sitting there using it while playing on the phone or reading. Before I know it an hour has passed. Easy to assemble and it is rather sturdy. It has a bit of weight to it but it's not bulky. It has a built in handle so very easy to move. My shoulders are currently frozen and I am still able to move this around. I love that I can change the tensions and it tracks what I am doing. Solid purchase!
