Are these knifes to professional kitchen standard or just home cooking ??

I've had these a few months now and use them regularly . I am not a professional chef so I can't answer your question , with any accuracy . Having said that I am very pleased with what I use them for , and have sharpened the ones I use often , and they have come up nicely honed time and again. They are also very attractive to look at and come nicely packaged , if that's a consideration. And the company sent me a letter a week or so after I received them hoping I was enjoying the product and if I had any problems to get in touch , which I thought was classy.

Are the knives okay to put in the dishwasher?

Unfortunately I was advised they were dishwasher safe but after a couple of months my main vegetable knife now has a split handle. and 2 of the others also look like they are going the same way.
