Fun addition to the costume
I got this to go with my daughters Mulan costume. Honestly the sword is the reason she wanted to dress up as mulan in the first place! I’m glad she likes it and feels it matches the vibe well

Cool for display will fall apart if used in anyway
My daughter loves mulan so its a hit. But 48 hours after opening the tassels fell off. The sword itself is good quality but the tassels basically fell right off from just carrying around the house. Too expensive of an item to do that.

too short, cheap, and sloppy looking
looks incredibly cheap and nothing like the sword in the movie. i even boight this to repaint to make it look more realistic and i cannot even do that it looks so bad.

Smaller than expected
It looks like the photo, it was just smaller than we expected but it worked for what we needed it for, so I still recommend it.

Will make a man out of you
I was nervous about the reviews when I ordered this. I wanted it for my Mulan costume for the Disney Princess half marathon and it needed to hold up for ~13.1 miles. Boy did it ever. I had it tucked into the back of my sports bra the entire race. The tassel swung back and forth with each step. It looked just as good at the finish line as it did when I took it out of the package. So clearly the reviewers below have kids that are using it for more than it’s made for.
