Easy to install, works great, will buy again

The insurance is trash. They will do everything so they don't have to pay you. Nor admit their product is flawed. If you run across the camera it won't capture the image fully and you won't be able to see who took your package. Unless your thief takes their time you won't get a good image. It's good if you want a cheap way to scare people from stealing your packages. But in the end its just that. Cheap and the insurance is useless. Just imagine having to capture a potential crime in a GIF and they tell you it's not their fault their imaging is delayed and my dog could of recorded something better with an original nokia

Great camera, an doorbell love it, an you do not have to pay any other charges if you dont want to. It is worth it weight in gold for the price you pay for this item. Easy to install an easy instructions for setting it up. I have gotten them for 2 other friends an they love them, gives you great pictures of who comes to the door, that can be saved if you need too. Again love it, WORTH THE PRICE !!!!!!!!

Easy installation, but after that is where the problems start. Poor functionality, as it won't take pictures when motion is detected half the time. Then the photos are deleted after 24hrs if you don't pay them monthly to store the photos. The photos are poor anyways, and even with perfect doorbell placement the camera often doesn't take pictures for a long enough time to capture faces. If I leave my porch light on it won't take any photos at night (and that is when I would really like it to be working). Night vision setting works fine but only if the porch light is off. Poor battery life, new batteries are already low after about a month and a half of use. Wish I had bought a different camera doorbell instead, and will likely do so once I can afford to. Update: it stopped working and I threw it away. I got the blink, it works with my echo dot so that's neat.

I purchased those tiny cube cameras in the past and never used them. The KANGAROO cam is great! It works for what I need it for. I use the KANGAROO cam indoors. It's my inexpensive security camera. Kangaroo doorbell performs just as well as other popular doorbell cameras. Even though it's a doorbell it has a CAMERA it can be used anywhere you may have uncertainty. The Kangaroo doorbell can give you certainty. I'm happy with this purchase.

This is likely most ideal for a small apt complex, a small business office or for someone who who may not be too tech savvy on an installation of equipment. The box says it has about a 70* (35/35) total view. It may 70* but it doesn't "feel" like that.This is our first doorbell camera so I don't have much to compare.The images are ok but if you're looking for crystal clear quality you may want to consider a different brand.Although the self stick option is most evident for installation, there are no specific instructions related to the screws, other than it's optional. Either the app or the package should include more detailed instructions.The motion sensor is very sensitive as the camera could pick up the flicker of the electric candle I had in my front window so I had to move it away so I wouldn't keep getting notifications.What I'm most pleased about is with many deliveries we get at our home, they'd never ring the doorbell, until now! Thus, when the delivery guy came over but only did I get the notification and image of him at my door, but he actually rang the doorbell! Yay!!!Overall, for the price, this is a good deal. Had my son still been in an apt, I likely would have ordered it for him.The only other feedback to share is that I wish the device would allow more sound options on the chime as well as to control the notification sound on the phone app. Because it doesn't give that control my general notification tone on my phone is no different for the Kangaroo app. Thus, I can't tell until I look at my phone if my notification is for the door or other apps that don't allow me to control the notification sound.

Actualización 22/12/2023: ya no funciona, la imagen se ve con rayas moradas y blancas, hay distorsión en el gif que se genera al tocar el timbre, ya no se enlaza al timbre por que ya no suena, ya no tiene vinculación con Alexa, por lo que no suena en los echos, aunque mencioné que si lo hace. Comenzó a marcar que la batería se agota (recargables) compré otras aquí mismo, y aunque estén cargadas al 100% al pasar entre 24 y 36 horas baja de golpe al 40%, cuando antes tardaba sin cargarse como un mes.Actualización.08/09/21: el doorbell si soporta la lluvia, pero como bien se sabe, el agua limita la conectividad wifi, así que es un punto a considerar, ya sea acercar el módem, si hay el espacio o añadir un repetidor wifi, si por la lluvia deja de transmitir los clips de video o las alarmas, basta con acercarse un poco o módem y presionar el botón por unos 5 segundos y nuevamente funciona.Es un Door Bell muy bueno.Material de calidad, el uso es muy fácil.Ya viene con baterías incluidas.Tiene buen alcance.Del módem (archer c-25) lo tengo a aproximadamente 8 metros del Door bell y a dos metros del timbre(chime incluido en el empaque).Tienen que tener en cuenta que la cámara tiene un delay de 3-5 segundos aproximadamente en la detección de movimiento.La cinta que trae para poder pegar el Doorbell sin tornillos y es bastante fuerte, pero no se que tanto vaya a durar con el sol directo.Igual no se ve que sea resistente al agua, por lo que la sugerencia es que le pongan algo para cubrirlo de la parte de arriba.Trae su tornillo de seguridad y dos tornillos y Taquetes para concreto, para poder fijarlo a la pared.Por ejemplo yo solo lo fijaré con remaches, ya que lo anclaré a mi reja principal.Sin duda por el precio es un buen producto, Moo una buena opción vi combinarlo con una cámara de exterior(en un punto alto)

It's not fair to compare this to a video doorbell, because the company goes out of its way to describe exactly what the doorbell DOESN'T do. Video, audio, and drop-in are not features of this device. It really belongs to a category all its own, because it sits right between a simple wireless doorbell and a video doorbell. At just a fraction more (and in some cases, actually less!) than a wireless doorbell, this device is fantastic. I have had zero issues with lack of response, the notifications come in right away, the chime works flawlessly, and the added bonus is you get some images of who's at your door. Sure, they're not award-winning images, but I think it's better than nothing at all. This is exactly what I wanted - pictures, not video, and at a really unbeatable price.My first set of batteries lasted two months. When the batteries started getting depleted, the images had vertical distortion lines. I initially thought that the camera itself was on the way out, but changing the batteries fixed the problem. Tech support was generic, canned messages, and a bit slow at responding, but not horrible.I recommend using the included screws to mount it securely, especially if you're putting it outside, because it WILL fall. And you CAN actually use the screws it came with, much to my surprise! They're good quality, deep-set, no issues of stripping the head. Nice attention to detail for components most people don't even make use of.Overall, I would recommend this doorbell. Don't buy it if you REALLY want a Ring. If your needs are simple and you understand what this product is - it doesn't disappoint. I would definitely buy it again if the need arose.

Was looking for a ring door bell but was way to expensive. For 24 pound it does rhe exact same thing. ( just can't speak to people or see a live feed) but any motion outside your door it takes multiple pictures that turn into a video. Very happy with it!!

The media could not be loaded.  The product is easy to install, picture quality good and motion detection excellent. You can see in the picture above that every motion is detected by the product even when the wind blows the tree. But the very bad thing is the battery of the product does not last. I kept changing battery every one week. I had to complain to the company the replaced the product but I still have the same problem of battery again. My sister bought the same product the same product and has not change her battery since more than month. May be am just unfortunate to experience this. All the same every other aspect of the product is very good.
