It's OK
I use this puck with my iPhone 6 Plus. If you use this with a tablet you're going to have to lay it on its side. I find that if you lay your tablet on its end it has a tendency to tip over. And by the way this is not an actual hockey puck. It's probably half the weight of an actual puck.
