very good for the money, however unfortunately i did not take heed as one of the reviews mentioned their afro hair was tangled. When I used it for the first time i tried it on a small section; my hair felt stripped and immediately tangled. I have since passed it onto a 73 year old english lady with very dry short grey hair and it works for her!
