ZenAdapt Supplement - Supports Stress Relief & Cortisol Balance - Adaptogenic Blend with Pea, Saffron & Holy Basil - 120 Capsules

This is working great. I was taking turmeric for my osteoarthritis and it just wasn't working any longer. Started taking this and I have no pain in my hands at all. Also like that it has ashwagandha (I was taking it as a separate supplement and was able to stop that) and that it has Saffron. I was taking a sleep supplement specifically because it has Saffron and I read it was good for insomnia so I stopped taking that supplement also. This supplement may be a little expensive but since I could stop taking 3 other supplements, I'm actually saving money. And it works!

Amy Meyer is a very competent medical doctor whom I have followed for several years for her advice on thyroid disease. She sells a broad range of high quality supplements with little to no added unnecessary ingredients. Zenadapt is a useful combination of ashwaghanda, rhodiola, saffron and Venetron (apocynum venetum). Ashwaghanda and rhodiola are highly recommended adaptogens for people with thyroid issues because they support your adrenals and with thyroid issues your adrenal glands take a beating. Saffron is a powerful antioxidant that can also support mental health and has been referred to as “sunshine spice”. Venetron is good for sleep and mood. It does not affect the CYP3A pathway like Sr. John’s Wort thus a lower dose is more potent.The capsules do contain cellulose. Cellulose is used as a popular binding agent and coating agent, so technically these do contain a filler. General consensus is it is hard to avoid cellulose in supplements and it is okay as it is a pure form of plant vegetable that helps with nutrient bioavailability. They also have l-leucine (an amino acid) and silica (found in horsetail, some vegetables and fruit). At $51.97 it is pricey to expensive in my opinion but then saffron is the most expensive spice.I regularly take rhodiola and ashwaghanda because I feel it has a calming healthy affect on my body and my mind. I will continue to take the four capsules a day and see if I have enhanced sleep or any other positive effects.

This product may work great for you, however, it made me very sick.

This product helps quiet an over active mind. Helps focus on what’s important and to ignore minor annoyances. Also seems to diminish chronic pain. The best part is the lower levels of anxiety. I will definitely continue to use.

I did not notice any significant benefits from taking this particular product. I have used Ashwagandha products before with great results, such as Pure Encapsulations Ashwaganda. The difference could be the dosage - the Pure Encapsulations product has 500mg of Ashwagandha standardized to 2.5 withanolides. Withanolides are naturally occurring steroids that give Aswagandha its ability to regulate metabolic hormone levels. The result is typically a reduction in stress and cortisol levels, increased motivation, and a speeding up of one's metabolism via increased thyroid hormone secretion over time.The Amy Meyers ZenAdapt product does not disclose how much Aswangandha or withanolides are in each dose. Instead it is a proprietary blend, where unknown amounts of each ingredient are mixed with other ingredients like Saffron and Rhodiola.I've used other Amy Myers products in the past to good effect, and regularly use her Complete Enzymes. However with the ZenAdapt, I imagine that there is just not enough of the key ingredients in the Amy Meyers product to do me much good. I still feel run down and stressed during this time period and the product has not helped as far as I can tell. It seems like a fine product as far as design, but because everyone's physiology is different, "your mileage may vary," as they say. For me, I will continue to use her other products but this one just didn't do it for me.

I've been taking this for two weeks now twice per day and I'm not noticing any change in either my stress or pain levels. I was hoping it would help with general irritability and managing stress levels and pain but I haven't noticed a difference.

Taking this product before bed for several months has helped to quiet my brain and body to help me rest. I don't seem to suffer as many swings into "crisis mode" during the day.

Product container was completely sealed and in good condition. So far the adaptogens have been great for stress.
