Didn't knowI needed it, purchased by accident!
Honestly, I thought I was just purchasing soldering flux. However, this flux is designed for connections that may not be the cleanest like in a piece of equipment that hasn't been cleaned or service in decades. It's self pickling which means in addition to providing a smother soldering experience it also cleans contaminents from the joint being soldered. Does a nice job too! Recommended. I neither was offered nor solicited remuneration of any type for this review. The observations/opinions are solely my own.

Sprayer fix
Read quite a few comments that the sprayer on the bottle doesn't work. When I got my bottle, my sprayer also did not work. If you unscrew the top, you will find there is a good 3 inches extra length of the little hose that sticks in the liquid and that the liquid travels up when you press the spray button. Just cut off all that extra length and just make it long enough to reach the bottom of the bottle. Your sprayer should work perfect now. Maybe the pump isn't strong enough to pull the liquid up all that extra length? No ide, but mine worked perfect ever since I clipped off the tube length. Thought maybe this might help someone. Oh, and I love the flux itself, too! Good luck!

this flux was horrible it did not draw the solder to it when it was heated it turned into a white almost mold looking pillowy sections of whatever would not adhere solder to any metal regardless of what metal it was I tried including sterling silver I would not buy this I would not recommend it and if I was the manufacturer of this product I would cease making it
