I purchased this section of pipe to use with my wood stove in my garage which is used a home gym and part time man cave. It ended up working perfectly for my application so I wanted to do a review with some pictures to maybe help others decide if this would work in their application.There is a ceiling in my garage and the space above has blown-in non-flammable insulation. From the ceiling to the roof is about 18 inches so the three foot section allowed me to have it extend about 4 inches below the ceiling and over a foot above the roof line which was enough to get through the collar that was already in place from a previous setup.I purchased the Selkirk Metalbestos 256240 6-Inch DSP Chimney Pipe Adapter to adapt the standard six inch stove pipe used inside from the stove to the ceiling. I added a three foot section of six inch stove pipe on the outside and attached it to the double wall with six #8 1-1/4 inch stainless steel sheet metal screws. I put a bead of high temp furnace caulking where the stove pipe connects to the double wall just so no rain would run down the pipe. This was not done before and it caused the old pipe to rust prematurely and water to sit on top of the stove also causing some rust. I used 1/8" aluminum pop rivets to connect all of the stove pipe, adapter and cap. As part of the installation I added a Vogelzang 6in. Cast Iron Stove Damper about four inches above the stove.The pipe came in perfect condition with no dents or dings of any kind - in fact, not even a scratch. The double wall does not get very hot at all. It can be touched from the outside even after a fire has been burning for some time so I am confident the clearances (2-3") provided will be sufficient. In the end it's a real solid installation and I am very pleased with the results.I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing well made double wall pipe. Yes it is pricey, but in my opinion the peace of mind is well worth it.

They must have been damaged in shipping. Most of the connector ends were out of round and dented and would not connect. Though the seller was very good.

Both stack pieces arrived with no dents. Even the dealers in town that sell the same thing, have dents in theirs. Well done!!

High quality double wall chimney pipe. Fit the Selkirk thru the roof double walled kit perfectly. There was a small dent in the side of the pipe but didn't affect anything.

Because it is an outstanding product the pipes fit and lock with ez and the lock ring is a great security feature so the pipes will not come apart

This was used for a wood stove, and the pipes were hard to screw together and lock in place. Both had dents in them, but I could not wait for replacements to be shipped. I would not purchase this brand again.
