I installed a “canopy” brand showerhead and they’re quite large and heavy because they have a filter inside. I noticed after the installation that they do not swivel. So I ordered this connector which is basically a swivel elbow. Installation was easy, but the showerhead was so heavy that it kept Going all the way back down on its own. Being a little handy, I kind of took the connector apart and added an extra gasket, which made the ball rotate very tightly. I put everything back together and now it works perfectly. I know I had to adjust the connector, which is not a good thing, but I was able to get it to work and happy. For regular use it should be perfect! If you have a very large and heavy showerhead, you will have to either use a different product or do what I did.

Feels quality in the hand and smooth when pivoting. Came with 3 extra rubber gaskets in a small but thick zip baggie, and a little roll of teflon tape. Good value

I bought a cheap dual shower head set but found that the main shower head was locked in place so with no knowledge of showers, I got this to deal with that issue. It was easy to install (with a little guidance from my dad as I am not a diy girly) and the fit was perfect. Finish matches well with the shower head. We’re about 3 months into the change and there has been minimal to no leaking. Definitely an upgrade from the original shower head!

It worked as it should but I think my shower head may be too heavy. After about 6 months it does not hold the weight up to well.

What a fantastic product. Several years ago shower head manufacturers (Water Pik, Delta, etc) went to cheap, cheap plastic construction on all their shower heads. At the same time, range of motion went down the drain. I've bought no fewer than half a dozen shower heads in recent years, from cheap to expensive, trying to get a decent amount of articulation but to no avail. No matter which shower head, at the highest it hits my head. At the lowest it hits my sternum. With this item, I can point the shower head directly down at the floor. If I wanted to, I could shoot the water over the shower wall and into the sink. The range of motion (this item combined with the shower head range of motion) is more than 90 degrees.Very sturdy brass construction, and the brushed nickel finish looks very nice. I wrapped the wall pipe three times with teflon tape and screwed it onto the wall pipe until it bottomed out. I screwed the shower head onto this item without any teflon tape and there are no leaks whatsoever. Best $12 I've spent in a long time!

My mom moved into a new house but her shower was spraying across the tub instead of pointing down due to the angle of the shower head. This installed allows the shower head to be pointing down now. Mom approved !It fit perfect and the included Teflon tape allowed for a leak proof connection. Tnx

Seems to be good quality. Easy to install with no leakage but will not hold the shower head upright..for this reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 5
