Dr. Martens unisex-adult Embury Leather Chelsea Boot

At almost 60, this is my first pair of Dr Martens ever and I am so happy I bought these. I'm normally a size 9 so that's what I ordered and I put Dr Scholl's Air-Pillo Memory Foam Insoles in them and they fit perfectly. SO COMFY. My toes are not squished and my heals don't hurt and I have enough arch support. These have become my go-to footwear and I will be getting rid of several other booties I own that do not offer this same level of comfort.

A bit hard to put on and off, but very comfy once on, plenty of room in toe box A nice sturdy boot. I've received compliments on them because, hey, they are Dr. Martens!!

I love these! Bought them as paddock boots for the barn and they didn’t disappoint. They do run VERY large. I had to go down two sizes. The leather stretches wide-wise but obviously not length wise. Great for the money. The leather is great quality and the leather wears in so nicely. They are on the heavier side. They look great with jeans too!

These look and feel pretty good. But honestly they might feel too good? When I’ve tried Dr Martins at the store they are always super stiff and almost hard to walk in. These I could wear out for a few hours immediately without any foot pain. I can’t complain about the lack of pain, but it does make me assume they are somehow less good quality than dr martins from the store? They still seem good quality, but Im probably ~15 hours of wear so far so I can’t really speak for the durability. They were also a good amount cheaper than the same shoe in the store which also felt a little sus. But I don’t see any sign that they were knock offs.

Except for the fact that these are a full size off for women, these are super. I am a standard size 8, but my size in these boots was very long and sloppy on my foot. I had to send my first pair back and get a women’s size 7. Size 7s fit perfectly. The classic Dr. Martens footbed is fantastic. Instant comfort out of the box. You’ll need to break in the leather. The shaft is particularly stiff and needs at least a few hours of breaking in—as does the upper. Once you bend the leather around and break in the boots for a few hours, they feel great. Other than that, these are great looking, comfortable boots. I love how the brown leather begins to patina right away, giving them a “lived in” look fast. They look great with a variety of jeans/pants styles. Love these. One star off for the sizing issue.

I love how these boots fit! Take the advice of other reviews and SIZE DOWN, because these are a wider style DM. I’m normally a women’s 10 but the 9 is perfect for my feet. They aren’t too heavy and they don’t take forever to break in. Wear cushioned socks or slap some insoles inside these and you’re good to go. I’m a server and these are comfortable enough to wear while working a double on hard flooring all day. You will not slide around!

Great boots true to size very comfy from day one compering to other dr Martin models

I wish I had bought these sooner! I am on my feet all day and spend a lot of time outside, often in the rain. I wanted something sturdy, but comfortable and good looking. I haven’t worn them to work yet but I put them on and immediately took my dog out for a walk and couldn’t believe how great they felt on my feet. The ankles are a bit tight but they are easy to take on and off and I’m sure they will adjust with daily wear.
