Best Tablet Book "Cover" - Period! Not a Tablet "Case"
This book cover is the best. Samsung developed a book cover that provides utility that is seamless and simple for the best experience of the tablet. The magnets are sturdy & strong and holds the tablet to the case yet it is extremely light weight! However, remember this is a magnet based attachment mechanism so you should be careful how you handle it because the Use Case for this magnetic book cover is totally different than the Use Case for a tablet case hence this is a cover and not a case (apples & oranges). However be assured this does protect the gorgeous screen and provides utility in angling the case for lap or flat surface viewing. The magnets for the 2 viewing angles are ingenious because it keeps the angle stable at all times without chance of collapse.I have read many reviews that stated this case doesn't safely secure the S Pen, that is totally false. Samsung added a magnet to the inside spine of the cover that stores the S Pen very safely. This provided for 3 places to attach your S Pen 1. The back where the S Pen charges for the blue tooth functionality 2. the top of the tablet where the magnet is stronger than the back to attach for quick access 3. The inside spine of the case. The S Pen does not need to be charged to write or draw on the tablet, the battery in the S Pen is for the air gestures. Even if the S Pen battery died it only takes 5 minutes to charge to 100%. Store the S Pen inside the case instead of on the back when transporting your tablet that way you will ensure your S Pen doesn't detach nor will you lose it.This is by far the best utility based tablet book case I have used and it's well worth the money. Plus it's Minimalistic and Sexy and doesn't add bulk to the masterful machinery of the Galaxy Tab S7+.Keep in mind this is a tablet book cover not a case, they serve different purposes.Great Job Samsung!Recommend to Buy!

Best option for the Tab S7, good magnets and protection
This is a great case and if you can find it on sale you should get it too. I see a lot of people complaining about the magnet strength, but for my Tab S7, I can shake it and the magnets keep it in place. Maybe the people complaining are owners of the Tab S7+ and it's bigger size makes it easier to come loose, but my Tab S7 has no issues being held by the very strong magnets and the cover has already saved my tablet from a drop!! There is enough of a lip at the edges to absorb impact and protect the bezels. The case is thin, light, convenient, strong, premium, well built, and it makes it easy to take out the tablet when you don't need the book cover. It's better than my iPad 2020 folio in my opinion due to the materials used. They didn't use better materials, but I like the feel of Samsungs material more.Nearly perfect case, could not recommend more.

Great slimline case for my Tab s7 - doesn't resolve all issues but close enough.
So after purchasing my tab s7, I ended up picking up a few cases, this is one of them. My other case is a larger, sturdier case with a keyboard for when I'm using my tab as a "small laptop". They both have very different purposes, and both of them do quite well in this purpose.SUMMARY:If you are looking for a well designed case that is as slim as you can get, but still provides options for viewing angles as well as a more solid place to store your pen, look no further. This case is a bit more expensive then others of it's design, but you can feel it in the fit and finish, it really feels like it was designed for my tab s7 exclusively, something I can't say for other cases I have. And while the pen holder inside is a great innovation, and secures the pen very well for travel and when not in use, it doesn't completely remove the limitations of the pen itself...but it's as good as it will get with this pen design.DESCRIPTION:the case is a slimline case made of hard plastic materials, using magnets to hold the tab and pen in place versus bands or plastic holders. This makes it a very slim case, adding aprox. 4mm overall thickness to the tab in total, with about 11mm increase in width, and 2 increase in height (length?). Overall, additional bulk is minimal and weight is negligible... probably the best I've seen in any case I've owned. it has a slot cut out in the back for the pen so it can fit in the factory position on the tablet for charging, as well as a place to secure the pen in the internal spine of the case (with magnets), so when closed the pen is secure, protected, and won't fall out.FIT AND FUNCTION:fit is very good. case material is a firm plastic, with a firm textured surface on the outside, and a velvety like textured surface on the inside where it contacts the tablet. The magnets hold the tab inside quite firmly...I shook the case when it was opened in a book style arrangement, and it took quite a bit of heavy shaking to unseat the tab from the magnets...I have no fear of it coming off when reading in bed or in any situation except perhaps if dropped. I will point out that this case is definitely not made as a protective case, I could easily see the tab coming out and bouncing if it was dropped on a hard surface. But I didn't buy this case for that.It closes solidly, with magnets that respond to the tab and turn it off when closed, and back on when you open it up (you'll still have to use biometrics or pin to unlock of course). the folding points of the case are made of the same plastic (it's all one piece), so it's a smooth operation to open, close, or fold it into a book reading or stand up viewing position. The only downside I see with this design is longetivity...the plastic will probably age over time, and the repeated folding and unfolding could result in the hinge areas cracking and becoming eventually useless...but the quality of the case would likely make this a long term issue, not a quality concern. The case has a folding point that allows you to turn it into viewing mode, and with 2 divots in the cover of the case, you can set it up at 2 viewing angles. I found this process to be smooth and intuitive, and the positions are easily what I would use to view it sitting at a table or perhaps on the counter (I like to use my tab for reading recipes online). It doesn't seem to lose it's position easily when moved, though of course picking it up would change this. But it's far smoother a process then my bigger case, which requires a bit of moving and shifting both the tab and the keyboard for an optimum position. To be frank, unless I'm using my tab as a "mini laptop" regularly, like for a class or group work, I would probably stick with this case, and use the keyboard from my other case for intermittent work. That's shows how much smoother and easy the setup process is with this case vs. my bigger one. but the bigger one has much more tablet protection, so it's my solution for long term laptop use.The pen holding positions are simple and effective, though they don't resolve the main problem with the pen: it simply needs a slot to slide the pen in on the tab (much like my note 9 phone). an external pen makes it clumsy to keep on the tab during normal operation when your not using the pen. This case solves this by providing a position on the inside spine of the case that holds the pen decently in position between two plastic supports on the top and bottom. This makes the pen quite secure when closed, and reasonably secure when opened, though it still tends to fall or get knocked off when your holding the tab for viewing books or a movie. But it's great for travel when you want a slime profile for your tab (like in a bag or briefcase), but want the pen secure as well. But for normal use for me, The pen will still sit in it's place on my desktop...it was just a bad design choice for the tab 7, one of the few issues I have with the tab.

Worth the extra money
It's worth it to get the official cover. I tried 3 other cases like this from Amazon, hoping to find one I'm the $15-25 range that I liked. But they all had their flaws. Then I ordered this official one from Samsung. Yes, it was a lot more expensive, but it was soooooo much nicer than all the third party random ones. It's worth the investment to get this case.It is sleek, the magnetic closure holds great, it doesn't have any extra pieces and fits perfectly, the pen holder is ingenious and fantastic, and it just works so well.

Samsung Official > Knock Offs
I always try to buy the knock off versions of the book cover cases and they always let me down. The feel is bad and the magnets are weak. These samsung cases are expensive but make up for it with high quality materials. The fit and finish is perfect and the magnets are strong enough to make me feel confident about them holding the tablet. The viewing angles are perfect and the color matches the mystic bronze perfectly. I won't be wasting time in the future trying the knock offs, i'll stick with the original Samsung book covers for my future tablets.
