Excellent Value
I recently bought the Mendini by Cecilio Kids Drum Set for my child, and it's been a fantastic addition to our home. This beginner drum set includes everything a young drummer needs to get started: a bass drum, snare drum, toms, a hi-hat, and a crash cymbal. The build quality is solid, especially considering it's designed for children, and the drums produce surprisingly good sound. The assembly process was straightforward, and the adjustable throne is perfect for growing kids. My child loves the vibrant color, and it's encouraging to see them excited about music. The included drumsticks are appropriately sized for smaller hands, making it easier for kids to play comfortably.Overall, the Kids Drum Set is an excellent value for its price. It's a well-made, complete starter kit that provides young musicians with a great introduction to drumming. Highly recommended for any budding drummer.

Professional style drum set for kids.
I am way more impressed than I ever thought I would be.Why, you may ask.The quality of this drum set blows my mind, from the throne to the hardware. The heads are sturdy ( this is a kids' set, after all) but sound very good. The base peddle is as solid as I have ever seen. All in all, it's an excellent set for a great price. No, I was never a drummer, but my son is an accomplished jazz drummer.

Adorable drum set
I love this drum set and so does my daughter, but as an adult noticing the flaws it could be more sturdy. Over all it stands on it’s on, but some of the drums constantly swing around. We’ve tried tightening it over snd over but it goes right back to how it was. I gave 4 stars bc it is super cute and good quality other than the slight swinging.Don’t let the review stop you from getting it bc we could have done something wrong putting it together 🤷🏻♀️

Great, compact little kit!
I bought this kit as my daughter's first instrument and I must say, I'm pretty impressed with it! Overall, it has good sound for an introductory children's kit, especially for the price. It's certainly not perfect, but I think it will serve very well as a beginner's kit.One of the things that impressed me the most about this kit is that it actually came with an extra lug bolt! I really appreciate the thoughtfulness there. Anyway, the drums are pretty much just basic drums - 6 lugs on the bass, 4 on the snare and tom. The snare uses a simple adjustable, spring-leaf mechanism for the snares, so the attack is pretty weak, but it gets the idea across. The tom and the bass sound surprisingly good. All drums have a single side port. And so we arrive at the cymbal. It's not any particular kind of cymbal. In fact, it's pretty awful. I think my cast iron pans sound better, and they don't ring nearly so long! When put it on and gave it a whack, it evokes a visceral "AAAAH" (out loud) from me and I rushed to mute that sucker. The dogs were looking at me to see if I needed help. I will say that it seems quite...durable? It's a thicc boy. So yeah, I'm getting a $20 splash as soon as possible and relegating this to maybe a stack...or the trash. The only other thing bad I can say about this kit is that the kick is a bit on the cheap side, though perfectly workable. It has a stamped, sheet steel pedal, a chain link from the pedal to the beater arm, and an actual tension spring. Setting the resting beater position is a bit of a trick and involves a couple of crescent wrenches, but I got it figured - the return spring links to the axle by a small arm that has some play and can be cinched down with the end nuts.I must say, I'm really looking forward to unveiling this kit on Christmas and jamming out with my little girl - I will update once we have a couple sessions!

Low quality hardware does not stay in place
I ordered this drum kit for my son a few weeks ago, and I have been disappointed with the quality of the parts. The metal drum mounts spin and move around no matter how I tighten them. The cymbal mount falls into the kick drum a lot, too. Maybe worst of all is the kick pedal. It does not actually secure to the kick drum because the kick drum rim is too small, and it bends if you put weight on it. I am constantly having to try to adjust and reattach the kick pedal. It's insane.I understand this is an extremely cheap set for kids, but at the least, the hardware should secure in place. My son has sort of lost interest in these drums because of these issues. It's really disappointing. I was hoping to buy him a cheap set and then upgrade once I was sure he truly wanted to play drums, but I'm afraid this cheap set is taking away his desire to play. I'll watch him sit down to play, and all of the drums and parts start flopping around, and he gets up and walks away. If I let him play on my drum kit, he will happily keep playing as long as I let him.I am now regretting not spending more on a name-brand set, because I think the hardware would have held up, and I probably could have resold it when he outgrew it. Instead, I saved a little bit of money and got a drum set I will have to give away or throw in the trash.Again, I did not expect a Ludwig-quality set, but I wanted one that would work as expected. I didn't pay much for this drum set, but I still don't think the build-quality matches the price.
