As a home canner, I always add 1–2 tablespoons to my canners, depending on whether I’m doing a water bath or pressure canning. It keeps my jars spotless—no hard water deposits—and prevents mineral buildup inside the canners. I’m also convinced it helps protect my aluminum pressure canner from pitting damage. Many canners who use vinegar report gradual corrosion, but mine still looks almost new, thanks to adding Cream of Tartar to every batch.

I use cream of tartar to make my bubble bars and they come out just fine .I don't use this for anything else ,so I can't really review it for cooking or how it would work with cooking but it works perfect for making homemade bubble bars
