Unbelievable comfort!
My grandson picked this as a new “gaming chair” birthday gift and I couldn’t be more pleased with it! Quickly expands and the cover is easy to put on. It fits him perfectly with a bit of room to grow. You should know that he is 8 years old and small for his age. I wouldn’t recommend this for bigger kids (definitely not teenagers) but he could use it for a couple years. The color is gorgeous and there’s no way it could be any softer. I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t fall asleep in it. I’ll update this review after he uses it for a couple months. For now though.. A+.

Great
I saw a few iffy reviews about this product about it not expanding by and what not. This is a great chair. You have to take it out of the box and break up the material inside. If you do not break it up then no it will not expand. When I took it out I shook it around and broke up everything inside and it expanded rather quickly. Holding up just fine.

This one was ok, but the purple one was 3x as small and never conformed to shape
I ordered two of these, one in this gray, and one in purple, from Santa for my kids. On Xmas Eve, I opened the box, which was extremely tight and hard to get out, and LOUD (ha). Anyway, they slowly opened up, but the beans inside were like stuck to each other and took days to fully let out. This one is human-sized and has expanded enough and pretty comfortable. The purple one--SAME EXACT CHAIR, SAME EXACT PLACE--is literally 2x smaller and so lopsided still that my 1 year old falls out of it. On top of that, height, width, depth wise, it is seriously a joke compared to the gray one. But once you open it out of the packaging, there is literally no way to get it back in. So you have to keep it. I emailed the company, and instead of taking responsibility ( I included side-by-side pics where the discrepancy is painfully obvious..I uploaded it in the other review bc I was on my cell phone, and right now I'm on my computer and don't have the pic here), they said, oh ok well return it in the box it came in (this is truly impossible) and only then will we refund you. So now I have $60 down the drain, and my daughter doesn't understand why her chair isn't the same as brother's. It makes me SO mad. I wish I had just bought from Target or somewhere else. I hope this company gets shut down for doing dirty business.

Not great quality but does the trick
We ordered this as part of a cheap and cheerful remodel of my daughter’s room, for her reading nook. Firstly, she is 10.5 years old and this chair will not fit her for much longer. It really is for younger kids. Secondly, it does look just like the pictures but ours is a bit lopsided. We’re ok with it but it’s certainly not perfect. Also, the furry cover attaches with some really stiff Velcro and the divisions between the ridges in the back rest are made with the same velcro (inside the fur) so it’s really not 100% soft and cuddly. But it is fine. Just fine.

Detailed and honest review
I have extensive experience in the Bed in a box industry so I’m familiar with foam products vacuum pressed and sealed which then expand when you open. The first two pictures are what the chair looks like out of the box and when you take the plastic off. You’ll notice, what is called convoluted foam, is still stuck together. Usually the foam begins to inflate immediately. When it didn’t I almost put it back in the box and returned it because once it inflates, it will never go back into the box as a previous reviewer stated was his/her problem. Foam products have a “born date” and a “pop date” meaning, usually 3-6 months after the product is manufactured and sealed, the product must be popped within that time or it expires and either will not expand or does not expand correctly.I followed the directions in which I included a picture because someone said they were horrible. I felt it was easy enough to understand. We opened at 3PM and followed the directions and washed the cover inside out as instructed. Picture 3 is what the chair looked like after following the initial instructions. It began to take shape but not 100% inflated.17 hours later, the chair has expanded more, the foam isn’t super firm like it was at first. Keep in mind, most foams react to ambient temperature so it was super cold when it was delivered meaning the convoluted foam was hard. As it “warmed up” by the temperature of my home, it began to soften. We are going to wait a full 24-48 hours before showing my son because as you can see in picture four, the back is not fully expanded and would NOT offer support for my 2 year old if he sat in it now. I also agree to get the larger size. The seat cushion itself seams sturdy and has significantly softened up but I would not use the word soft to describe this chair. The zipper came broken as pictured and as far as the shedding goes, I thought people were being dramatic about the loose fibers after washing but because I’m wearing a white shirt, so it was hard to see the extent of the shedding. I noticed the fibers were on my smart watch which allowed me to take a deeper look and there is fuzz everywhere. The cover is super soft like a cozy stuffed animal.

Great buy! Only buy the “teen” size for kids over 2years old imo
The media could not be loaded. Fabulous buy!! I read all the reviews and saw some comments about the chairs shedding, mine haven’t shedded. Anywho, I bought the size “teen” and my children and 3 and 6 fit in them perfectly. I would certainly only buy the teen size. I also honestly think the size would be too small for a teen. My six year old is kinda tall, but still, these would be too small for a kiddo 12 and up in guessing. Great buy though, very sturdy and firm yet comfy. We waited 24hrs before sitting in them bc I read that was needed somewhere, and there weren’t any instructions in the boxes so I just went that route just in case.

Cute playroom chairs!
Bought for our playroom for our 3.5 and 1.5 year olds. We’ve only had them a few days so can’t rate durability/quality. They’re really cute and soft! Happy we got the larger size as they look appropriately scaled for a toddler. I actually can’t imagine the referred age group sitting in the larger sized chair.Very happy with the packaging and product to date and think the price is reasonable.

Does not expand, don’t buy
This chair has been out of the box for two days and is literally hard as a rock. The sponge inside would literally hurt to sit on. I can’t make it fluff up I have tried. Do not buy this

Doesn’t expand well
Not a comfy chair. Says it takes 24hours to expand. I’m still trying days later to split apart the foam inside so its not conglomerated and lumpy.
