Neat little blood glucose meter, ideal for those, like me, newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and wanting to monitor their blood glucose, easy and simple to use and read, everything you need to get started, and I'm quite happy with it. I can't comment on accuracy as I have no way of checking, but the readings are what I would expect to see given my age, general health, condition, diet, etc. The NHS doesn't provide a means of or recommend self-testing for those whose diabetes is managed by medication (other than insulin) & diet, but if you have no way of monitoring yourself, how will you know how successful your efforts at self-management are, apart from the HBa1C blood test you get every 3 months or so? This little meter provides an easy and cost-effective solution.

Very easy to set up and after you've got used to it you can do a test in a couple of minutes. I've been diagnosed as pre diabetic so not life or death how accurate it is, but I guess it's good enough. Both my wife and I have tried it and we both needed it to be set with the needle at the longest setting to get a decent drop of blood.

Had to return as kept coming up with faults. Good supply of test strips

Needs better instructions for ease of use. Shall need calibrated to maintain accuracy
