I need this book for a current class I am taking. It's phenomenal. I've read some pretty dry and boring textbooks so finding one that has great pictures, written to where even if someone with minimal knowledge about archeology could retain the information is a huge win for me.

Epigraphy acknowledged, even if barely.
Kudos to Dr. Fagan for making his first illustration, on Pg. 2, of a petroglyph, and he shows several more in the book (see the Index). That is significant because if he isn't the only archaeologist willing to acknowledge their existence, he is one of the very few. Archaeology dogma heretofore has steadfastly refused to recognize any tangible prehistory evidence not dug out by one of their own. Dr. Barry Fell, who earned two doctorates in other fields, and who was an usually gifted linguist, documented pre-Columbian epigraphy rock carvings throughout North America made by people from all over the Mediterranean and some from Africa, in his books America B.C., Bronze Age America and Saga America. He collaborated extensively with photographer Gloria Farley, who published the book In Plain Sight, documenting epigraphy. Ivan Van Sertima, a Rutgers professor, specialized in documenting African exploration of Central and South America before Columbus. Everyone interested in pre-Columbian history of North America should read those books. Maybe eventually archaeologists will drop their opposition to supplemental fields of knowledge, as Fagan somewhat has, and adopt an inclusive approach. As Mrs. Farley cautions, a reason archaeologists have not been welcome at epigraphy sites is their failure to respect the landowners' request for confidentiality, to avoid vandalism and looting. Dr. Fagan emphasizes that problem.

Very good. I had already purchased hard copy of this book. Should I have to pay full price for digital copy?

Less Than 1 Star No Text To Speech
I bought the textbook to use in class. I then bought the Kindle version so that I could use the text to speech tool. I need the text to speech as I am dyslexic. Why is text to speech not enabled? I want my money back! Or enable Text to Speech.
