Perfect Fit for 99 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO, 6cyl, 4L. 1999.
I was affraid that this would not fit, as the 99 Cherokees have 2 types of transmission pans, one with deeper one with shallow profile. This is shallow profile. Also when ordering gaskets, the shallow gasket fits here ( of course) 14 holes please remember! This pan is GREAT, it is much better than original OEM part, - it is firtstly STRAIGHT nad FLAT at the gasket surface, it has the most loved feature of all: the screw seal to release fluid, so when exchanging the transmission fluid, you do not have to deal with 7 liters of red stuff falling straight on your head/shoulders/eyes and pan is not 5 degrees tilted on last screws etc etc.

Great Quality Tranny Oil Pan And Great Price
I had a job years ago and bought and sold all kinds of aftermarket oil pans, long before they all came"from China." I really liked the price of this pan for my Jeep and am familiar with Dorman products so I decided to buy this.I was surprised at how nice this pan is, how thick the metal is and how smooth the edges of it are--nothing to get cut on. It has a drain plug too. I checked it over and the new gasket lined up with the bolt holes perfectly. Now I don't have to spend any time handling or cleaning the old pan. If I had a shop I'd keep this one in stock as it fits a lot of Jeeps and other Chrysler products. Definitely 5 stars for this. It got here in less than 48 hours too with Prime.

you have to remember to put the magnet in the original pan around the bung for the new drain

Quality product! Very pleased!
Much better than the OEM Jeep part it replaces, mainly due to its sturdy construction and the the drain plug which I’ve already used twice. Don’t use RTV, instead buy the Mopar seal or the FEL-PRO TOS 18667 Automatic Trams Pan Seal and moisten it with a little trans fluid before installing. That way if you have to remove the pan again (as I did twice) it is easy because nothing sticks.
