Greatly extends the range of any Baofeng radio. Its good quality and functions better than I thought that it would. They are very long completely unfolded but I think it looks cool.

I love it! It works very very nicely! I am in the basement a lot on GMRS and transmitting from there is near impossible until I coupled this antenna with my 10watt radio, my AR-5RM. Also my 7-8watt UV-5G Plus works great with it too. The antenna has 3.8db gain so that is great! And it can handle up to 10watts. I havn't seen it on an SWR meter yet though, but I think it has a nice low SWR. It nearly outperforms my Nagoya NA-F30G tactical antenna which has 3.5db gain. So that's saying something!

I purchased these because signal was too weak to reach to my daughters house. After installing them, I got perfect quality reception. The distance is a heavily populated 1.4 miles. Definitely worth the extra cost, despite the antennae being cartoonishly long. =)

This product is way to bulky for an ht unless your stationary. Works better on vhf than uhf. Have not checked SWR.

Works well with my Baofeng UV5R radios. Stays upright and gives a little extra range when needed.
