I am not only impressed with the product but am grateful and impressed with being kept up to date on delivery times. It was first not expected to arrive until 4/15. Then I was notified it would arrive on 4/9. Then I was notified on that it would arrive on 4/3 and it did! My husband and I are in our 70s and really needed this thermometer in this corona virus time especially since we have other medical conditions. Thank you Good Baby and thank you Amazon!

I tested my and my wife’s temperature alternately several times. It always measured mine at 97.1 and hers at 97.4 three times and 97.3 once. I had been sitting at a table underneath a ceiling fan before taking the measurements. After about 10 minutes, I tested my forehead again, and the thermometer reported 97.4 degrees. We have 2 digital oral thermometers, and I used them to test the accuracy of this thermometer. The first (ReliOn) read 97.5 degrees (orally) and I then tested using this forehead thermometer and got a reading of 97.6 degrees. I tried the second thermometer (Allegiant), received an oral temperature measurement of 97.6 degrees, and then measured again with this forehead thermometer, and got 97.6 degrees again. With the results of this test, I will have no problem using this thermometer instead of an oral thermometer for taking my family’s temperatures. This unit is also able to measure the temperature of random objects and I checked it with a few things around the house, (wall, plastic toy, etc.) and the measurements it gave were very near the thermostat setting for the air conditioner, so those measurements appeared reasonable as well.

Do not get. Would take my temperature in the same was a few times and it would vary +/- 3 degrees! Hard to accurately track your temperature with such inconsistent readings. It is easy to use and has a large screen but that is not important if it is not accurate.

Update: after using the thermometer for a little while I started to get consistent readings. I don't know why the initial readings were all over the place, but now the readings have become stable. Original thoughts: out of the box I tried several different back to back readings of my forehead temperature. Unfortunately, I got a wide range( 97.6 to 100.9.) Temperature readings inside of my ear were more consistent. I'm not sure if I was doing anything wrong in getting my forehead readings, but I'm going to do some more testing. The thermometer is really easy to use and very fast. I hope I can find a way to get consistant accurate readings.

I've purchased 6 different no touch thermometers for work since March. This is the first one I purchased for home use. It's as easy to use and as quick and accurate as much more expensive ones purchased earlier in 2020. It works as well as the 2 provided to my company by our local health department. I would absolutely buy it again.

We used this to take temperatures when our kids were sick. It's very quick to register an accurate temperature. Just a swipe from the middle of your forehead to a temple. Easy to read results. The screen background turns green, yellowy orange, or red depending on how high the fever is. It also resets quickly so you can take another temperature right away.

I'm not convinced the forehead reading is accurate. It fluctuates so much when you take multiple measurements, one right after the other. It seems to be measuring on the high side. When I compare and use my under-the-tongue thermometer my temp registers as normal. This thermometer has to stay in contact with your forehead for measuring your temp, which I didn't realize. It probably says that on the description though.
