32.8ft(10m) Car Door Edge Guards Light Gray– Fits Most Vehicles, No Glue, U-Shaped, Built-in Metal Clips, Scratch and Chip Resistant – Reduces Dings in Parking Lots

Metal clips hidden within layers of the U-shaped rubbery plastic channel gripped my car door edge very firmly. I pushed it on by hand and then used a short scrap piece of 2x4 to firmly rap in all the way on. Then just to be sure it was on all the way and evenly, I laid the narrow edge of the 2x4 across the edge of the installed door protector and GENTLY rapped the 2x4 with a hammer, working my way along to make sure it was fully and evenly installed on all four car doors. Start to finish, the whole project took less than 20 minutes. And it looks like it was installed at the factory. Because of the sping clips within the black plastic, the installed door protector holds onto the car doors very firmly. After applying this door edge protector to all four doors of a 2025 Chevy Trailblazer, I had about 1/3 of the door edge material left over, so one package of the stuff should be enought for full-sized vehicles with four doors.

I only just installed this trim so I can't speak to longevity, but I am very happy with the product at this point. It looks and feels really good. Installation was super easy. Just pressing it on with my thumb got at attached well and following up with a rubber mallet did help to fully seat it. There was plenty of trim left over, and the price was very reasonable. My truck looks really sharp now!

I found this product easy to install, sincevI don't own a rubber mallet, I used a small hammer & gently tapped fo fit the cord on all four doors & the cargo door. It looks great, I am pleased to have this door protection.

So far I've had this for 6 months & in that time the few times that I have bumped my door on anything there has been no damage or marks. I really like this product & it looks good on my car. (No pic as my car needs a wash & I work to much to wash it just yet sorry).

Great stuff. Very flexible and conforming yet very tough. I didn't use it as door edge guard. I used it for a cold air intake lid that rubbed against a radiator support making a squeak. 2 minutes to put it on vs. many days to find the squeak.

This product is awesome! Easy to install and very practical. I was just going to use it on my car but then ended up adding it to my wife's car and my parent's car. Unlike other bumpers that are small, you can use any amount you want around the door frame. And the price is a bargain.

As you can see worked perfectly in the 1st photo it is before putting the item in and the 2nd photo after putting the item in, it was very easy to install. I loved how it looks.The size was perfect I put it on both doors and I still have it.The material is good.

EDIT: I am updating this to 3 stars as proceed with caution. The seller was responsive and met me halfway to address the damage to my car doors. I would consider this more of a permanent addition if you have a car with thinner paint like Hyundai/Kia. I also applied it to my wife’s 2019 Mazda 3 and removed it to clean and there was no damage to the clear coat or paint. Overall it seems to come down to how your factory paint is done and if you ever plan to remove it in the future for more than cleaning.Original Review: If I could go back and never put this on my car I would. Put on a brand new Elantra N to “protect” the doors and it ended up causing more damage in a single week than any chip could. I am now looking at over $500 of correction which on a brand new car. I would have been better off just leaving it be or putting PPF. STAY AWAY IF YOUR CAR IS NEW. I’ve emailed the company and waiting for a response and will update this when I get an email back. My car got very dirty yesterday and I removed these to do a proper clean and wax and found that it completely screwed the clear coat, causing lumps. Look at the photos below if you need proof.
