Couldn't tell I wasn't eating regular pasta
Delicious and great if you have an autoimmune condition that precludes eating gluten or wheat.

Satisfies a desperate pasta craving
Okay, we need to be very honest here. There are some negative reviews that this isn't like real, normal, every day semolina pasta. The kind of pasta that ruins some people's guts forcing them into a gluten-free and in this case for me, a grain free diet. Pasta is generally made from wheat flour. Gluten is food chemistry magic. It is what gives pizza dough that wonderful chewy texture, a donut that tender rise, a croissant the flaky crisps, and pasta the durability to be formed into hundreds of shapes then withstand drying, traveling, then vigorous boiling and tossing with sauces. For many, wheat can cause gastrointestinal issues. The best pastas come from Italy, and just as with Jovial - this pasta is made in Italy by the masters. This is a grain free pasta - meaning it is not made from wheat, corn, rice, or quinoa. As such, each of these flours imparts a different taste, texture, ability to withstand boiling etc. I recently went on an AIP (autoimmune protocol) diet which removes all grains to help calm a whole body inflammatory response. Eating pasta for me is really only about having a vehicle for sauces and flavors that I crave. This pasta does the trick, and it's even better if you can really amp up the flavors of the sauce you put on this pasta. The bite and chew is very similar to traditional wheat pasta - you'll have to tinker with boiling times, but you mustn't expect this to resemble entirely what you've known your whole life. Set that expectation aside and rejoice that you ARE eating a plate of pasta with your family. This has been a true lifesaver by allowing me to feel like I'm not really giving up anything. And excellent choice if you're seeking a grain free pasta.

Good enough if it helps me be grain free!
All these “ alternative” products are pricy as far as I am concerned. It’s not as nice and chewy as some brown rice products but it ll do just fine for the grain free among us.

No No No
I recently went gluten-free and I've been exploring all the different flours and pastas etc. I decided to try cassava so I bought this fusilli. I had already tried the Jovial gluten-free brown rice pasta and I loved it; however, I can't say the same for this one. I cooked it for 11 minutes according to the instructions. This pasta has a weird texture, and there is a strange taste that's hard to explain--I can't really put my finger on it how to describe it to you--but I truly didn't care for it. since I didn't have anything else prepared I had to force myself to eat the entire dish and it was not pleasant. I read another one star review that said there was a warning it could contain lead right on the box--so I ran and got my box and, sure enough, there it was --a "lead warning" right on the box like that person said. This one is definitely coming off my list of gluten-free options.

No taste
No taste and not a firm paste, you have to check the cooking time often, my paste apparently cooked too much and it lost its shape and was not “al dente”!!!

Great pasta substitute for those on an autoimmune or paleo diet
My functional medicine doctor placed me on the AIP diet and recommended adding cassava to my diet. I was hesitant to try these noodles at first, but I ended up really liking them. Flavor is good, texture is a bit gummy. Overall, it satisfied my need for pasta!

It looked and tasted like paste.

Close to real thing in taste and texure
I've been looking for gluten free, grain free pasta that tastes good. The cassava pasta is awesome. It is the best alternative to traditional pasta I've ever had. And I've tried a lot of alternatives.
