This is English only not the traditional German and English version
Beautiful book I'm a collector of tachen I really wish this would have been the traditional English and German addition that all tachen books are published I'm other then that it's nice just dose not fit in with my collection yes I know it says English but almost all tachen books in the USA are advertised as English but still come with the German version printed inside as well ...... So if a collector be aware this is only English

Recommend the book.
After reading "The Secret Life of Salvador Dali," this book was more acceptable to read and learn about him as an artist. Regardless of his big ego etc., he was an excellent surrealist painter. The book has good glossy photographs of his paintings along with explanations about them.

Good colors
Absolutely loved this book! It has lots of illustrations. This one is much better than the one we bought in Salvador Dali museum in Florida.

A nice gift
A very nice book but I have had to order a replacement as the shrinkwrapping was so tight it had damaged the top corners of the cover and some of the pages too. I am hoping the next copy will not be damaged in the same way .

Excellent for Art exam research
Lots of smaller pictures and some larger ones. 60% writing/history of artist and facts about the art.Very useful.

Missing most famous images
This was informative, but I was disappointed that the images I was expecting were missing. Also there were few examples of his sculptures.

Well printed.
Having followed Dali all over Spain, from Portlligat, Cadaques, Madrid to Figueres, I thought it about time I had most of his art in one place instead of the odd print on my walls. This book fits the bill.
