Is the ink water resistant? Watercolour painting/sketches etc.

No, not in my experience. Rather watersoluble. I suppose you can draw on top of the watercolour but you couldn’t colour in a sketch without the ink dissolving in the water. However you can buy Lamy converters so could choose a water resistant ink.
