Kuhn Rikon 10" Double Balloon Whisk

Purchased this to replace the one I had. This is a great little whisk. I really appreciate it. I definitely like the fact it has a loop on the end so I can hang it up. Nicely made, no burrs found from the manufacturer. It's quite sturdy and works just fine.

I LOVE this French whisk! Previously, I had a balloon whisk that would tip over my glass measuring cup because it was too heavy in the handle. I no longer have that problem because this French whisk is light weight, yet sturdy so no tipping and, it whisks eggs (and anything else) as smooth as can be. Additionally, it is sealed at the handle where the wires connect so there's no debris or water collecting where it would be impossible to clean and dry. That is a concern because food contamination is something I avidly try to avoid. I haven't seen any rust, nor do I expect to since it is advertised as Stainless though nowhere does it specifically state "Stainless STEEL". I don't think I will have any issues since I thoroughly wash and dry all of my dishes by hand. This is the BEST WHISK I have ever owned!I don't know why I suffered so long with that dreadful balloon whisk!

This whisk is the perfect size for smaller whisking jobs. It has a nice weight, so it feels substantial in your hand when stirring. (It's always annoying to hold a tool that is flimsy and obviously cheap when working quickly in the kitchen.) It is very easy to clean and the perfect size for smaller mixtures. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this for pancake or cupcake batter...more for whisking eggs or maybe salad dressing.

My daughter in law needs it for anything in the kitchen. She loves it.

This is perfect for blending sauces and shape of the wires will get into the corners of some of my square sided sauce pans to really whip out any lumps of flour that tends to get caught up there. My larger balloon whisk just can't get in there it's too rounded. They are well built and the wires are perfect thickness and flexability to get the whisking that I need done especially for using short energetic strokes in a square sided saucier when making a roux, for example.

Quality construction. The slim design lets me use this whisk in my smaller measuring cups. Fits my hand perfectly.

The whisk is high quality. From the description, however, I had expected the whisk wires to be a good bit finer. I was looking to replace my favorite whisk whose plastic handle is not holding up to frequent washing in the dishwasher.
