Orange Crush 12: Small Amp—Big Sound!
The Orange Crush 12 12W 6" Guitar Amplifier and Speaker Combo has far exceeded my expectations. For a few decades I have used mostly Fender amps. Those Fender amps were and still are great amps, especially the tube amps. As for Fender solid-state amps, not so much. The sound of the Orange Crush 12 12W 6" solid-state amp sounds much better than any other solid-state amp I've tried. It's very basic and easy to use, and it has a big enough sound to mic up and do a gig in a small venue, or use it to record with. As for the controls, it comes equipped with volume, gain, overdrive, low, mid, and high tone controls. The amount of good, clean (not fuzzy or muddy) distortion can't be matched in any Fender or Marshall at the same price point. The one thing that it doesn't have is reverb, which is okay with me. I prefer delay over reverb anyway, and I purchased an inexpensive KMISE digital delay pedal, and it sounds phenomenal. Even with the extra pedals, I still came out spending less money than what the Fender Champion II costs, and I got a much better sound with the Orange Crush 12 amp.

Great for beginners and looks great.
Distortion is decent & build quality seems nice. It’s small. Clean tones and distortion are pretty good. Overall a good budget, beginner practice amp. It gets pretty loud. I barely ever put the volume over half way. And it works well with pedals as well. I feel like an amp like this should be around $75 at most. But I would recommend this for what it’s used for and the quality of it. Ive been happy with it so far.

Awesome Amp for Practice & Jamming
I got this amp for my son, and it’s been fantastic for his practice sessions. The 12 watts deliver clear, crisp sound, and the 6” speaker handles everything from clean tones to a nice crunchy overdrive. It’s compact and portable, so he can easily move it around the house or take it to friends’ houses. The controls are straightforward, making it easy for him to dial in his sound. Great value for the price!

Orange enough for the price!
I bought this intending it to be my "at the cabin" practice amp, anticipating leaving it there. Now I'm sure it's going to stay with me and make the drive back and forth, while my original practice amp (a Fender Frontman) sits idle. For the price, this solid state product is able to achieve the Orange sound which I've always coveted. It is also compact, lightweight, and looks great. I play it plugged in straight (which will be the "away from home" configuration) but it also takes my pedalboard way better than I anticipated. I've used it at jam sessions with no reservations or downside. I am probably putting more practice time in, and I believe that is at least partially attributable to enjoying my tone more, or at least having more fun pursuing it. I'm most frequently using it with a Strat. I know the biggest knock on it is only one channel, so you have to adjust one or more knobs to change tone, but honestly, if you can't achieve that with the pickups, volume and tone settings on the guitar and pedals, you may be asking too much of a $100 amp. I love the Orange sound and overall brand, and this was a pretty easy way to get into it myself.

Nice inexpensive practice amp
Good little practice amp. Nice sound for a little guy !👍 Gave only 4 stars because seems a little 'weak'/cheap in spots..¿ like back plug for power cord seems cheap/breakable after some time. Not sure how robust it is if you move it around alot...¿

Great, versatile bedroom or small space amp
As a guitar player of 15 years now I needed a small amp for my bedroom for recording purposes and just for those quick, out of nowhere riffs that pop up when you just pickup your guitar at random. Since my large equipment is in a place in the house where there is a lot of traffic with family I needed something where I could play my guitar anytime. This amp fit the bill perfectly. For a small, 6" speaker amp this thing throws out some loud, clear sound and I was pleasantly surprised. The gain and overdrive can be cranked up for a nice crunchy sound or keep them set low for nice, warm cleans that sound pretty good for solid state electronics. If you don't want to mess around with pedals for a bedroom setup like me then this amp is great for that. You will not get heavy distortion with this amp so if you're looking for that either look elsewhere or buy a separate pedal. I paired this amp with my TC Electronics Looper so I can stack up the riffs to create songs in small places. The amp itself seems well built and comes with higher end features like corner protectors and the ability to control the gain, overdrive, low, mid, and high range, and comes with a standard 1/4" input and a 1/4" headphone jack when you want to be really quiet or just listen through headphones. If you've never played through headphones I highly recommend it since you can really hear how great your guitar sounds. So if you're looking for a small but reasonably versatile amp for your bedroom or even to travel with this might be it.

A great little amp.
I got the base model with 3 band EQ. Dime the EQ, unlike everyone, and you'll find your tone. Much of the tone comes from the way you play, not zeroing the mids or anything. This is a pretty great little amp to have around, I think. I've played guitar since I was 11 and I'm now 36. Anyone who says the tone is bad, it's because their guitar and way of playing sucks, or maybe they got a defective model. Learn your instrument.

Wow
I ordered this on accident. I meant to order the speaker cab but decided to give this amo a try and not return it. This little amp crushes it. I tried with no pedals and with pedals . It takes to pedal really well . I play a lot of metal and hard rock , I like my tone crunchy and distorted. I found that my Mesa Throttlebox sounds fantastic through this through my other amps sounds a bit too chunky no matter how I eq it. My other metal pedals such as the Boss Metal Zone sounds terrible through it .The cleans sound tremendous also. It's very loud and has a full spectrum of range . I can't believe for this small of an amp that I get this huge tone and volume. I will also at some point order the cab that I originally wanted .

Great sound for practice and awesome quality. A bit pricey though.
