Acrylic Display Case With Black Base, 6 Inch Square Box for Showcase, Countertop Display With Lip for Collectibles, Toys, Home Organization (6x6x6 Inch)

I have been searching for a standard display case for all of my model rail and diecast moel car collection and finally found it with this case. I have tried many, both cheap and expensive for my 1/18 scale collectible car models and tried 2 of these on trial. I now have 6 and will probably be ordering more as the collection grows, given the quality and cost.They require assembly and this gave me pause at forst, but I tried it. The first one took me about 30 minutes to assemble die to losing the the little round acrylic tool provided to start the removal of the mylar proection sheets from each side of each piece. I resorted to an Xacto knife instead. Once accomplisehed, each piece snapped together without issue and the provided latex gloves jeep the pieces clean and fingerprint free.Subsequent assemblies, with the round tool used to start a corner then easily removing ithe mylar protrective sheets, takes about 10 minutes. What you have on completion is a very clean, very clear , unblemished case. They are stackable and look great.This is my new standard display case.

Updated on 10/06/2020:Just wanted to give a quick update on this item since I got a notification that it has been helpful to at least 5 people. It still looks great and my previous review still stays the same. I bought a second one about a month later and both are of the same size and quality. Still 100% happy with my purchases.This portion of my review is only for any Gunpla builder looking to purchase this to use on their Gundam builds.The model show in my photo is the 1/100 scale MG RX-78-02 Gundam the Origins version. This case has just a little bit of headroom so it is limited on poses if you want to pose it in a way that's taller than its height standing straight up. (I knew this before purchasing) I built a custom MG Unicorn Gundam recently and due to its popularity I can flat out tell you that the MG Unicorn Gundam is an inch or two too tall for this case. I wouldn't recommend this size of case for most 1/100 scale models as they will certainly be too tall and certainly limit your poseability. However, you can easily fit 2-4 HG or RG 1/144 scale Gundams within this case with plenty of head room. If you have an an Action Base 5 for your HG of RG 1/144 Gundam, I would say 2 kits max with 2 Action Base 5's as long as your okay with having them on opposite corners front and back.Past Review:I tried going the cheap route at first by purchasing this type of display case on eBay shipped from China and I ended up learning a lesson. Both are of equal size and equal quality which is fantastic 7I bought this display case due to the high ratings and I am glad I did. The only thing that I'm neutral about is that the only base color I could purchase was Blue. Wish there were a few other colors but I'm fine with it. As the title states this is crystal clear, high quality, and easy to assemble. This is so clear that when I tried to reposition my Gundam model, I had forgotten I put the clear top on and hit my fingers on it, lol. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to protect their models and collectables.

Case was nice, not difficult to assemble. One caveat though, one of the small panels has a crack in it. Didn't return it though just kept it.

Perfect for my taxidermy display. Not too difficult to assemble if you read instructions. I used blue tape to help. Packaged well.

I needed a simple display case for my oversized novelty tennis ball. This one was perfect! Comes with rubber gloves and double-sealed plexiglass to ensure no scratches or smudges. All pieces fit together perfectly and were crystal clear.

After reading good reviews for this case I decided to pay $50 plus to have a quality case for my special collection item.After carefully removing the film on each plastic piece , 2 of 5 pieces have fogging and scratches inside the plastic pieces that look like the tape they used from shipping. It is permanent and will not come off.Unfortunately the quality of the item I receivedIsn’t worth the money I paid for it. I will be returning.

I used this as a memory box/display for my brother n law that died. It fit his boots and more. The frost protective layer is hard to peel off but it's definitely worth it.
