Great gift for any age. Good illustrations

I'm a huge fan of folklore, ghost stories, and Japan as a whole. I've always admired the culture and traditions, and the terrifying stories of creatures and yokai have always caught my attention. Up until I got this book, I hadn't really done any research on yurei, but this was definitely an awesome introduction! The visuals are pretty great, the stories themselves, and the extra information about haunted places and the like are so cool!

Compact and colorful, this book offers so interesting reading as well as visuals. It's well worth picking up if you have even the slightest curiosity about Yurei.

The illustrations remind me of some Manga I've read. I don't know a whole lot about Japanese history. So I can't vouch for how accurate the facts are. It's cute but I don't know if I'd use it for research.

すごいですよ！ I am now in my third college semester of taking Japanese language, GO TRIBE!, and wanted to learn some more about the culture, myths, and legends of Japan. This is a great book for just that! It is the size of a handbook and it full of interesting facts and legends. I have already ordered the others in the series. Did I mention awesome pictures too?!

Was an awesome read. Just as good as Yokai Attack. Love it!
