Excellent quality and robust construction. Much nicer than the cheap versions. One pocket for adding weight or storing gear. Velcro attachment and good weight.

When towing it can happen that the wire snaps. That is why you put this over the cable. The heavyweight of it will make sure that the wire will not fly in any direction, but just to the ground in case it snaps.

Exactly what you expect to get with any ARB product. The fit and finish is great and it works exactly how it needs to. Great product.

Well made and easy to use. You wouldn’t want to risk having an automobile accident without having your seat belt on and an airbag in front of you so why risk having a winch cable snap without this damper bag on your cable.

A must to prevent winch line--which sometimes goes slack during recovery operation from tangling up on the reel Hey--it's OK if you operate a winch on your vehicle and you do not know what this damper cover is for. After you secure your winch line and begin the process of reeling the line in you simply hang this rugged weighted cover over the line and the weight will cause the line to droop some which keeps the line from getting loose and cause a big mess on your reel. It slips onto your shoulders like a sleeveless T-shirt It could be helpful to be worn in a emergency situation when you would need to be seen due to it's high visibility orange color

Appears to be tough and heavy enough to do the job.Haven't used it yet,hence 4 stars instead of 5.

Heavy duty construction. Good size. Good heft. A nice *closable* pocket where you can add d-rings or etc. for additional weight. This is the recovery damper that defines recovery dampers, and well worth the extra money compared to toy substitutes with inferior construction and no weight.

As others said, just buy this and be done with it. Others you need to add weight. You wont lose the bright orange, also doubles as a safety vest, or just a convenient way to carry it. Seems to be made well, and washes well.

This damper is Strong and durable and easy to apply during recovery and easy to store afterwards in the car. Avoid the copy cats who are a third of the price and as light as tissue paper
