Great socks, high quality and perfect thickness
We usually exhaustively research baby socks, perhaps because our family pet likes to carry them away if he finds a stray sock, so we like to make sure any socks will stay on our son's feet. This time, however, we bought these on a whim and couldn't be more happy with this purchase. Here's why:(1) The socks pretty much stay on! That's always the million dollar question with baby socks. We've lost an average of two socks per week, which we consider much better than the typical baby sock (which, for us, averages a lost sock every ten minutes or so).(2) The band around the ankle isn't too restrictive. We've found so many baby socks that cut off circulation around the ankle, leaving marks on our son's ankles. This isn't the case with these socks. The tradeoff is that, as mentioned, we have lost an average of two socks per week. We are okay with that tradeoff.(3) The thickness is perfect--not too thick and not too thin. It's obviously the summertime right now, so we wanted a material that would give him some protection and warmth but not too much.(4) We also like how low they are on the ankle. With all of the other awkwardness in our lives, at least we don't have to worry about the awkwardness of a farmer's tan on our son's legs.

Cushiony, fits for a long time UPDATE
We've bought three packs of these, and they're the only socks my two-year old son wears. The Medium (18-36M) size has fit him perfectly from about 16 months through now, at 27 months. They're very cushiony and soft enough. They do wear out like any other socks and become a little less soft over time, and we've had some minor pilling, but I still think they're holding up well considering how often they're worn and washed. The ankle portion barely peeks out from his tennis shoes, so they're understated and neutral enough to wear over and over again.UPDATE 8/20/16: I'm back for more! They've lasted well - through my first son, then my nephew, now my second son is wearing them. Like with anything that's been washed hundreds of times, they're not exactly like velvet, but still comfy. My second son will turn 1 in a couple weeks, and he has been wearing the Medium size for the past few months. I'm sure he'll wear medium for a while, my first son wore them until he was three! The large was better at that point, but I would end up noticing he had been wearing a medium, and they were still big enough to be comfortable/prevent blisters.

WHY OH WHY CAN'T THEY MAKE THEM ALL THE SAME COLOR!
So I believe there is some kind of conspiracy going on with these sock companies. They used to make these in a set of JUST white ones. When you buy the multi-colored pack like this, I assure you that your child will lose one of each color and then have to wear mismatching socks, assuring that some boob will thing you're a terrible neglectful parent that can't even buy your child matching socks. So then you have to go buy more and more before they even grow out of them if you want to look like a decent parent. These socks are much better quality than any other socks I've found for toddler boys (Hanes and Garanimals fall apart after a month), and you pay for that quality, only to have your child walk around in one blue and one gray sock, because, gosh darn it, you're going to get your moneys worth out of those socks! WHY OH WHY CAN'T THEY MAKE THEM ALL THE SAME COLOR! OH THE HUMANITY!

Size L - Not what is pictured
Be aware that the size L in these is NOT the same quality of sock as pictured, or as the size Small or Medium. I previously ordered sizes M and S and received the socks that are pictured. They're great, durable, and thick. My son now needed a larger size so I re-ordered them in size L, but what I received is completely different fabric, thickness, texture and look. The brand is the same, the name is the same, but the socks are not the same. Just a heads up to those who are buying a size L and expecting something different.

you alway have like six single socks each of a different color
COME ON FOTL: Make them the same color!! Any parent knows that the freakin tiny baby socks ALWAYS disappear. And guess what? It is NEVER only both socks; one must remain to piss you off, make you wonder and push you to search. In the end, you alway have like six single socks each of a different color. I am not sending my baby to day care with two different colored socks-- darn it! Get it together FOTL: Make them the same color. Here is a crazy idea: You can even make different colors so people can choose their favorite, but you just do NOT HAVE TO group them together! Now if you excuse me, I need to pursue my sock search mission.

Soft and durable!
I bought these in both sizes for both of my boys because both had outgrown their other socks. My 6-month-old's feet are too big for the 12-month socks I have, so his feet are a little small for the mediums, but he will grow into them. They are super soft, even after several washings, and have plenty of stretch. My older son is almost 3 and needed the larger size because his old socks were getting small and looked very worn. I worried that these socks would be so thick that his shoes would be too tight (as is the complaint with other socks), but that hasn't been a problem. I bought an extra set for each boy because they are both at the low end of wearing their respective size, so they will all get worn well, and I'll probably stick with this brand from here on out. They also go up to the ankle (maybe a tad bit above), so they're ok for shorts, too. Unless I have the two sizes side by side, when I'm folding laundry it's tough to tell whose is whose, so I appreciate the sizes' being stitched into the inside of the sock opening to make it quick and easy to separate them.

Cute & comfy
Love these socks! I bought them for my 14-mo old son that wears a size 4 in shoes. These socks are big for him, but I expect it because I want these socks to last him a while. Also, they are not too cushiony on the bottom - I bought these socks because I wanted something that wasn't too thick to make it hard for him to get his shoes on/off. I have these socks in a size Small (these are medium, for toddler shoe size 4-8M, I believe) and what I love about them is that the medium socks have an "M" on the cuff, and the size small have an "S" on the cuff, making sock matching super easy. My son still fits into the smaller size, but I'll eventually phase those out in a few months when he outgrows them.
