That little bump into heavenly audio
So you watched one too many Z Reviews videos? Got a DAC, AMP, headphones you love? Got that sweet sweet lossless music? Oh! Your whole setup happens to be able to run a balanced signal? These are the cables for you. There may be others, but this is the one I bought and it works well! I don't have another cable to compare it so I may update my review once another set arrives. So far this works as intended. Sound is a bit clearer, bass is slightly punchier, and I am now able to live a balanced life.Do know that everything in your devices needs to support balanced audio. Everything. If one link in your chain doesn't then this cable will not work as intended. The bump in quality is not mind blowing, but subtle. Subtle like that slightly tighter hug your loved ones may give you. Subtle like that lingering look your cute coworker may send you when exchanging greetings. Subtle like that twilight time of the day when it's not too early to go to a bar yet it's not too late to get a good night's sleep.Equipment: Hifiman Ananda, Tone 2 Pro, Zen Can Amp.

Can't believe how important balanced cables are...
Well I made a big mistake when I bought the wonderful Zen DAC back in April to go with some new headphones I bought ... but then didn't get a balanced cable to get the most out of it. WOW that was a mistake! I only just recently got around to buying this cable and I can say I'm shocked at how much better everything sounds: clearer sound, better soundstage, and better isolation of layers in a track. Anyway, if you have an amp with a balanced output GET balanced cables asap.As for these cables, I really don't have any complaints except that their braided construction makes them pretty stiff. Not kinking on me yet, though. The strain relief is coiled metal so that looks like it will help these last a long time and justify their high price (which honestly is probably a normal cost for balanced cables and I'm simply not aware). Buy them!

Noticeable improvement over the cable that came with the headphones.
Using with Hifiman XS edition and Fiio amplifier playing Tidal MQA. Noticeable improvement in sound quality over the cable that came with the headphones making the instruments sound clearer and the sound stage broader. I can understand why some think it is too stiff or too long for desk-usage, but in my opinion the main job of the cable is to improve sound and it does it just great.

Too tight
Really tight and hard to get the 4.4mm balanced end into amplifier. One I realized that it wasn’t going in the last 1/8 inch I had to really push hard to get it in all the way. Once in it works great.Other 4.4 cables of other brands work as designed and insert much easier.

Great Pair of Balanced Cables.
I bought these balanced cables for my HiFiman Sundara headphones. I am using them along with a ifi Hip-Dac to stream music from my iPhone 11 Pro Max.I am unsure if the resulting improved sound quality is due to these balanced cables, the Hip-Dac, or a combination of both. All I know is the headphones sounded great as is however the improvement in sound quality after using the cables and Hip-Dac is very noticeable. The music is clearer and more rich in detail. The cables are longer and thinner than I thought they would be but they feel durable enough so I think they will last. My only (admittedly minor) quibble is they weren't offered in black. I would also recommend offering different length optionsin short, I would recommend these cables.

There are Ebay cables better than this
The cable is stiff, and you can hear every noise from the cable movement in the headphones when no audio is playing. You can even hear it a little when audio is playing (depending on volume). It just feels cheap as well. This isnt a Hart cable so I didn't expect amazing quality, but I am still disappointed

Awesome!!!
Great build quality and a true balanced cord. It almost doubled the volume from my Amp, but more important, it made midrange and vocals sound fuller, richer and forward. Everything sounds so much better. No longer are vocals fighting with background instruments. Great job!!!

Pure junk !
I don’t understand the 4 and 5 star reviews on these cables. Received today, plugged them into my Focal Elegía headphones , and… no sound out of the right channel. Unplugged , back they go. Besides no sound, these they are cheaply made and look awful. The stock focals are beautiful , and these are not close. The 3.5 mm plugs that connect to the cans are so thin , that there is a gap in the surrounding area that makes them look like they just don’t belong. This might have been a one-off , but I’m not going to bother trying another. This is pure made in China junk. And at $50 no less. Save your money , look elsewhere
