Reusable Half Facepiece Cover Set with Safety Goggles and FiltersI'm just now getting into resin work and dice-making, and the one thing you absolutely must have is a mask and filter set like this. The goggles included here are important for eye protection from the fumes and from flying debris (sometimes there's little pieces that need to be trimmed off and they can go flying), and these goggles are really comfortable and don't fog up. But the really essential thing here is the respirator mask. You have to have a respirator mask to protect yourself from toxic resin fumes. The mask fits flush to the skin (and is surprisingly comfortable!) and the air you breathe in is fed through the filters on the sides. This pack comes with 8 filters, and it's a good idea to write down when you last changed them so you can cycle them with regularity.One word of caution with this set: you see those 3 prongs on the "snap-in design" in the product pictures? The plastic on those is very soft and I would not recommend "snapping" the filter box into place. Just visually line the 3 prongs with the corresponding 3 holes, gently lay the filter box flush against the valve (instead of "snapping" it on), and turn to secure it in place. No snap needed, and you don't have to risk breaking one of the prongs.Overall, this respiratory mask and goggles are great. I'm planning to buy another set for my spouse so that he can work with the resin with me. The mask is comfortable (shockingly to me! I did not expect it to be!), the bit that slips over the head to hold it steady is also comfortable, and the part that secures behind my neck is easy to operate. Got one of these a few weeks back, didn't have much use for it but last week my friend got food poisoning and vomited in my car, smelled awful, but I put on this thing to clean it when I got home and couldn't smell a thing, plus I didn't get sick from inhaling vomit fumes which is great, only downside is that I live in Texas and it's summer so it filled with sweat pretty quickly

Bought it to go into a hoarders house. It filtered out the incredible stench that was created from all of the debris. So glad I had it.

My parents’ garage upright freezer died. In Arizona. In July. It was full of meat and seafood. FULL. Mix an unplugged freezer with 120+ degree days for a couple weeks and you get a smell worse than a rotting corpse. Seeing as I’m an amazing daughter, I hired a sitter and cleaned this freezer for them in 110 degree full sun summer heat. I bought this mask so I wouldn’t inhale anything toxic, and I hoped it would minimize the smell a little. Not only did it minimize the smell, I almost couldn’t smell it at all. I would 10/10 recommend this mask.

I wore this cleaning out a flooded basement. I was the only wearing this and the only one that didn’t get sick. Breathing through this is like wearing nothing at all; however, it’s more on the disposable quality side. The plastic clips gave out a few times and my mask came off.If I was using it for smoke or chemicals it would have failed me.
