Great little blanket!
Great little blanket! I take it to hotel rooms with me. I can’t stand those heavy quilts they give you for blankets. And quite honestly, those quilts, they’re a little too sketchy for me. That’s the first thing I do , rip off that quilt. This little one keeps you warm, but is nice and lightweight. I lay it out in my suitcase and it takes hardly any room at all. Also great on airplanes.

Compact and useful
I often get cold on planes and this worked well on a cross country flight. It is lightweight, compact and warm enough for my needs. It was not difficult to put it back in the carrying bag either. I’m able to keep it in the water holder on the side of my backpack.

Ultra light and compact
Great ultra light travel blanket. Barely takes up room in my bag, yet still warm enough for chilly planes.

Preferred Fleece to Velvet
Bought these for an upcoming trip and decided to buy both styles to accommodate the needs of my kids and myself for our long overnight flight. I was looking for something that they could easily pack themselves into their personal bags for the flights without it being too bulky or cumbersome like a traditional blanket can be. The “velvet” style is very lightweight and the more compact of the two, and on the see through side of things as far as the fabric goes. I’m not sure how warm it will be, but if you like to sleep with a blanket regardless of how hot it can be, this would be a great pick. If you run cold all the time, I’m not sure the velvet style will be of any use to you. The fleece is much warmer, it’s fleece on one side as opposed to both sides which helps keep it from getting too bulky. However, it is not as compact as the other so if you’re tight on space in your bag, this may not be the best choice. Still smaller than a regular blanket and both should work fine for our needs. Little pricey for what they are.

Best travel blanket ever. Buy one now.
Folds up small. Was bigger than I expected unfolded, thin and lightweight yet somehow very warm on flight, I love it. Worth the price.

Soooo warm and light…perfect for plane and studying!!
I bought this blanket with some gift cards because I thought it seemed a little costly for a light travel blanket. I am seriously considering buying a second one because my kids keep trying to take it. I have cozy throws of all types, sizes, materials all over my house…and they want this one!! I want this one!! It is ridiculous how cozy I am with this little fleece travel blanket. I bought it for a future TransAtlantic flight for me BUT my daughter has used it on a plane ahead of me already. I, however, use this as I study (nursing school) at home and I stuff it into my backpack and use it on campus if a classroom or study room is chilly. I lug around a >10# Med-Surg, a “smaller” textbook, laptop, iPad, writing supplies, etc and this blanket STILL fits in my NorthFace Borealis backpack.I also gather the corners of the narrow end and tie them in a loose knot, then wear it fleece side facing me. So warm! This allows me to still have my upper body & shoulders still covered while still being able to type & write. I also plan to do this while using it on the plane. It’s so soft and light that I cannot feel the fabric knot on the back of my neck.I LOVE this thing!! I am using it as we speak. I have actually been using it ALL DAY as I study liver, cirrhosis, hepatitis, etc. Heavy topic—light blanket!! Buy the blanket…Take care of and be kind to your LIVER!! It is one AMAZING organ!!

Warmest blanket for it's compact size that I've ever found.
This little sheet/blanket can be compressed down to the size of a softball, yet it surprisingly warm. If you're ever on a flight where the AC is too cold and you're in a window seat, this is a lifesaver. I think the secret to it's warmth is the Thinsulate fabric, because each tiny thread has a hollow space inside.I once boarded a flight in Hawaii wearing only shorts and a t-shirt. My flight home was re-routed through Minneapolis, where it was snowing. On principle I refused to pay to rent a blanket from the airline, because blankets used to be free. It's also great to have if travel disruptions force you to spend the night in an airport. My only complaint is that after a few hours polyester can become irritating against bare skin, but that's a small price to pay to keep you from freezing.
