Wax on wax off
Minwax always works if you have experience with it. Because wood is fickle dont ever expect it to like a sample. I use it oll the time.

Very dark color
This color is very dark so if you don’t want your projects like that be mindful to not put on a heavy first coat. I used a sponge and wished I had used a rag instead. It’s a nice stain though. Give it the proper amount of time. I recommend using wood conditioner prior to applying so coats come out even and not blotchy as you might experience on pine.
