Must have for Hiking/ camping/ hunting
I bought this LifeStraw for our emergency kit and camping trips, and it gives such peace of mind. It’s lightweight, easy to pack, and simple to use—just pop it into any water source and drink. The water comes out tasting clean with no weird aftertaste. I haven’t had to use it in a true emergency yet, but I tested it on a hike at a creek, and it worked perfectly. Definitely a must-have for anyone who spends time outdoors or wants to be prepared at home.

Just to be prepared
Great just to have.. you never know the scenario or event that may require a mechanism to clean your water for drinking… well this makes it super easy!

Reasonable price
These arrived no problem. They're reasonably price and worth having. I have these for my disaster bag. Not sure what else I can provide.

Good product to keep in my camper supplies
I don't plan to drink muddy water just because this will filter it (look at the ad photos), but it's always good to have with you when you're gallivanting through the wilderness. Always carry water with you but keep this in your backpack just in case you find yourself stuck or lost in the wilderness. It's affordable, and definitely worth your life.

Field Tested and approved!
So I watched an episode Alone and realized that I might need this when I head out West on a September hunt. I only intended to use it as a last resort. Problem is….my son watches Alone with me and after seeing it on the kitchen table as he was headed to cut grass he decided to take it and drink creek water instead of packing water with him. Of course I didn’t know until after the day had came to an end and I got home and he told me how great it worked. Well….he didn’t get sick or die so I reckon this things works pretty good. Haha

Safety first.
I havent had a chance to use it yet but looking forward to use this and drink out of some nasty puddle water next spring! Kidding aside It fits great in my pack and leaves me fealing secure in a worst case senerio out on the trail.

Good product It’s really a game changer when travelling to remote areas with limited access to drinking water. Should be in every hiker’s backpack !

Looks ok, but the package leaves the mouthpiece on the Lifestraw unprotected. I would have preferred a sealed product, just to be sure its not tampered with or potentially dirty.

Zadziałało raz i przestało.

Non così comodo come credevo, tuttavia l'ho usato in ruscelli di montagna in emergenza, sembra aver fatto il suo.

Not the most optimal flowrate and build quality is mediocre. I received it in a cardboard stand without a packaging that seals the unit from tampering. This could be dangerous as it could have been used, tested or replaced by someone and then returned to Amazon as "new". I noticed though som buyers get it in a sealed plastic bags and some not. As for the unit it seems new albeit dusty on the outside due to probably the Amazon storage. Unit feels robust and well designed. Minus 2 stars is for packaging. Plastic retention clips are weak and of bad material and cracks like styrofoam. You risk loosing the cap and the bottom cap should have more retention as it easily flaps around by slightest force. For what you pay it does feel like Ling Long materials bar perhaps the inside but then they are produced and assembled in China and then packaged and/or assembled in Mexico, South Korea or USA. There are much better brands like Katadyn, Sawyer which costs a bit more but is far better and also have 0.1 (better) micron filtering instead of 0.2 like LifeStraw Personal has and also Miniwell which is a reputable and tested chinese brand with comparable products and in some ways better than all the previous regarding functionality and accessories for roughly same price as a LifeStraw Personal. My first and last LifeStraw product especially considering the price and low quality materials. LifeStraw Personal costs roughly 25 USD in Sweden.
