This is the perfect portable vacuum. The battery on this unit lasts much longer than our other vacuum and having the charger in the base for the second battery is unbeatable. We can vacuum all of our house with no issues and rarely have to use the second battery.

So far I like everything about this vacuum cleaner:- Convenience: Not having to keep plugging and unplugging a vacuum cleaner makes the job quicker and easier. I love the cordless aspect of this vacuum.- Suction & Battery Life: These aspects of the cleaner go together. There are 3 suction levels - low, medium and high. The vacuum cleaner works well on hardwood, tile and carpet on the medium setting. The battery will last approximately 42-43 minutes on medium. I rarely use high and only for really big messes. On high the battery will last about 11 minutes. I have not used the low setting. I purchased a second batter which charges in the base while the battery being used is also charging. For my house which is 4350 SQFT, both batteries will easily handle the entire house with battery life to spare.- Maneuverability: The vacuum is exceptionally maneuverable. It allows me to bring the hose parallel to the floor so that I can vacuum under dressers, night tables, end tables and other furniture with minimum clearance. I've never been able to do this with another vacuum cleaner. The retractable hose makes it much easier to clean in tight spots and on steps.- Edge cleaning: The vacuum cleans right up to the edge of the wall. there is not need to switch to a narrow or brush attachment.- Storage: The vacuum stores onto a base which sits on the floor. NO need to drill holes in the wall. It takes up very little space.- Durability: Unknown at this point since I've only had the vacuum for a couple months. It's a well built machine and I see few weaknesses. However, a couple reviewers have mentioned that the latch that fastens the dust canister in place broke and a replacement part is not available. That concerns me. Thus I'm extra gentle when reattaching the dust canister to the vacuum. I use my fingers to guide the dust canister in place and then I depress the latch button until the canister is seated and then release the latch button so that that the latch gently locks in place.- Emptying the dust canister - The canister has enough capacity for one complete cleaning of my house. Emptying the canister is quick and easy. However, dust is emitted during the emptying so I empty it directly into the garbage pale in the garage while wearing a dust mask.- Cleaning pet hair: I have two cats that shed a lot. The vacuum does an excellent job of picking up pet hair on hardwood, tile and carpet.Overall, I love the vacuum. It makes it much easier and quicker for me to clean the whole house and pulling it out to spot clean high traffic areas more often is a breeze.

We have a house with all tile floors. But we also have some area rugs. We needed a light weight cordless vacuum. We had one that just vacuumed but still left some small particles of dust on the floor. Furthermore, the old one could not get under low furniture or beds. This one solves all of our problems. We were hesitant to spend this much money on a vaccuum, but it is worth every penny. First of all, it picks up every bit of dust. I can get under end tables and beds. The brush on the hard floor attachment remains clean and doesn't hold any dust. This unit has three speeds and defaults to medium when you turn it on. I find that most of the time, medium does a very good job. Occasionally, when there are larger particles on the floor, I turn it up to high, but that is rare. In addition to getting under low furniture, I actually love the way I can turn corners and manuever it. I know I'm a strange bird, but I like machines and enjoy vacuuming the house twice a week. We've found it easy to clean, but do wash out the dust bin and let it dry. The old vacuum needed to be emptied every time. We only need to empty this one after 3 or 4 times. Interestingly enough, since it does such a good job of picking up dust, we get less dust on the furniture. You have to change heads to do rugs. That said, it does a good job on every rug we have. I run it on medium for about half the rugs and on high for the rest. Some people have complained about battery life. We've had no issues there and have never had to go to the second battery to complete the task. I picked this vacuum because of a review by a magazine saying this was the best vacuum for hard floors. They were right.

I like this vacuum a lot! It’s perfect for floors without carpet. Even though it has two brushes (one carpet and one hard floors) the carpet one can’t be used on the carpet. It literally has so much suction that you can’t move it across the carpet. Therefor I only use it on hard floors. I wish I could use it on the carpet!

I have had this vacuum for over 1 1/2 years and use it ALL the time. I have dropped it more times than I care to admit. Instead of buying a new filter for it, I used canned air to blow it out and wiped it with a damp cloth. (I know, not smart) It started malfunctioning lately; only 2 levels worked. Then it was giving me a replace the filter notice and the battery seemed to not last as long. I bought a new filter and voila, everything works really well again.This little vacuum is light and easier to get into places other vacuums can't. Plus it works REALLY well, better than some larger ones.

This vacuum cost over $500, cannot suck up anything larger than dust, gets clogged from Cheerios, and does not run for more than 5 minutes on max power (which is the only power setting that does anything at all) without a recharge (which takes about 6 hours. What a mistake.
