Derma Sciences GL236 Tubular Gauze Metal Cage Applicator, 4-Medium Size

This cage is the best help ever to apply tubular bandages on the legs or arms. My wound care doctor had one and we have been looking for one forever and found this one on Amazon. Wish they had a bigger size because if leg swelling is bigger than this cage, it doesn't help. You have to learn how to use it and it isn't easy to use, but it isn't hard either once you figure it out. It takes a few tries and if the area is bandaged anywhere your tubular bandage has to go over, this is the product to use because anyone who has this issue they know what I mean. The company needs to put up a video on how to use it.

Agree, we needed one size up to mirror cage size at the podiatrist office. But, better than pulling and yanking down the leg by hand. Not large enough for someone with a less flexibility in the ankle, and or a heavily bandaged foot and ankle. Takes some finessing to manipulate over and up the leg. But much better option than pulling and yanking down the leg by hand.Gave 4 out of stars for that reason. Largest size offered.D&B

I was using a PVC tube but it was too hard to use. It took 2 people to get the bandages on it. Now, with this, I can do it myself.

I ordered the cage to assist putting on the tubigrip.

Used to stretch compression sock hose to put on foot and leg!

I was expecting to get a 7-7.5 inch diameter, like my hospital's Woundcare Center uses. I have size 12.5 feet—they will NOT fit through a 4 inch hole. The problem is not with the product, but with the products description.

This product assists in getting a compression bandage/sock on like no other!!!
