Funko POP Movie (Vinyl): Back to The Future - Delorean

If you're thinking to buy this toy and send yourself back in time - perhaps with a Sports Almanac-don't. This is just a toy, not a real life time machine. Just so we're clear. If you're a fan of Funko Pops, this is a must have. It's a great little toy from an enduring pop culture phenomenon. Now you can relive the thrilling race through Hill Valley to send Marty back to 1985 without having to steal shopping carts and get arrested because some cop thinks he's so cool with his badge and his gun. "Disturbing the peace". Whatever. One thing you should know, however, this isn't built like the Batmobile Pop Ride. The Batmobile is hard plastic, this one is soft, much like the Funko characters themselves. This makes it harder to break, which is good because any kid who comes over is going to want to play with your Pops until you yell at them that they're not toys, they're collectors items.

What can I say? Its back to the future. Compared to other funko vehicles, this is a better production. Probably because its two toned with only black and silver and its boxy. Marty is same marty you see in stand alone item. As with all funko vehicles, the boxes are flimsy and likely to have some imperction wither warped blister or crushed box.

Got this item for my desk at work and am happy with it. Marty does come out and there is a little peg inside the car to hold him in place. The wheels of the car do not move. Some people complained about the detail of the paint job on the car but unless you are examining it up closely I think it's really good (and honestly if you are examining it up closely, it still looks good, but it is a toy....not sure what people expect.)

I got this for my husband as a Christmas present, he recently expressed a desire of collect Funko POPs and he LOVE Back to the Future, especially the delorean car. I think this will be a great first for his collection. I cant wait to see his face! I received the package only 3 days after placing the order, I couldn't believe how fast is came in, I was a little upset when I opened the package because the Marty pop has wiggled its way out of the car during shipping and was laying on top of the car instead of sitting in it. My husband is a collector and doesn't like opening the boxes so I knew he would be upset too, but I was able to know the figure back into place with some very gentle tapping and shaking, so crisis averted!

what the heck? not sure if this is a bootleg or what. marty is fine but his ride is a melty, poorly painted mess. whats up with the awful sculpt? i own several other funko vehicles, including the ecto-1 and the rv from breaking bad- they are both perfect. not so with this time machine- it doesn't even sit flatly- its THAT warped and poorly sculpted. it looks and feels different than the others- different paint, different material. horrible.

I love this set very much. The details are pretty good and the quality of McFly is as expected. The car itself has good detail, it's construction is similar to that of a rubber duck (kind of squishy with a hole at the bottom.) Would recommend.

I got this as a gift for my dad for Christmas and he loved it! He's a big fan of Back to the future and this was a great addition to his Back to the Future collection

Marty figure is looking good but the Delorean is made from a softer material/plastic not similar to the ones used in Funko Batmobile. The softer plastic made the Delorean looked 'dry' as oppsed to a glossy finish, maybe they wanted to achieve that stainless steel look of the actual car.
