Seems to be pretty well made.
This seems to be pretty well made which is surprising considering the cost. I've stayed away from the Craftsman brand for some time now because of quality issues. I may have to reevaluate that depending on how this performs over time. When I first got this I was a little surprised at how it looked and felt. The battery seemed to take a little longer to charge initially than I expected but held up well through some heavy use over about an hour. Time will tell.

Works great. Now I don't have to wait a little over an hour to charge a 2 ah battery. Charges a 2ah battery ind 30 minutes and a 4 ah in an hour. Nice upgrade.

Updated my battery and charger perfectly
My Craftsman battery stopped charging, but I wasn’t sure if the charger or the battery were to blame. This let me test both, and I figured I’d have a backup of one or the other. Turns out in my case it was the charger that somehow went bad, so I now have an extra battery, which is perfect.

It caught on fire first use!
Only reason I gave this any stars is because Amazon was quick to order a replacement and they were genuinely concerned if anyone was hurt or properly was damaged. Thankfully none of the above happened. I also do like my craftsman products and understand that manufacturing defects can happen. This charger caught fire during charging and filled my shop with smoke. Luckily I was there and caught it in time. I was able to unplug it and toss it out of the shop into the rain.I do have two more of these and one of them did start to spark inside but it was from Lowe's and Lowe's took it back and replaced it with a new one which has been great so far.Don't let this review deter you from craftsman tools. They are still a pretty good bang for your buck and I plan to continue using them.
