This stuff is really cool. I used it in my kitchen on a cabinet and the refrigerator. It looks really cool, is very functional and easy to remove and reposition without leaving a residue behind on the surface you stick it on. Also the chalk goes on really well on the surface and erases completely. I used that chalk paint before and the chalk would never completely erase even if you wiped it with a wet towel and it's expensive too boot! This stuff is way better.

Update! Not sure how long you can leave it on the wall and still be able to lift it without damage to paint and wall... We had to remove it 1½ years after installation and it ruined the wall so badly that we had to hire contractors to re-mud and smooth the wall before painting again. Pulling it off took chunks out and paper off the dry wall.And to respond about chalk markers, they only wash off if you don't leave it on for more than a day or so.Purchased mine in late January, but just put it up last week on the kitchen wall and it is fantastic! Sticks very nicely, but lifts when I want to move it or adjust it without taking paint off the wall. You get exactly 2 meters in length and the backing has a metric grid on it so you can measure and cut accurately. I have used the chalk included so far and while it leaves behind the "ghost" of what was drawn with a regular eraser, if you erase and then wipe with a damp sponge, it all comes off just fine. Wait to write on it again until it is dry and you are good to go! I am going to try some chalk markers and see how they work...I'll add a response to that question above when I find out how it works!

It is not easy, more like sticky wallpaper that you can’t smooth out. Not worth the money

This is a neat tool but it is sensitive to humid climates. Our office can get a little muggy so it causes this to bubble up. Overall it was easy to put on the wall and when removed, it came off easily and left no marks or residue.

Product arrive waayyyy ahead of time which is a plus! Product itself is nice, easy to piece the art together. Took less than 15mins. I give it four stars because the adhesive on one heart piece came completely off but it was an easy fix. Would recommend if you want to add a little something to a room

This contact-paper style vinyl chalkboard is a wonderful and inexpensive way to put a drawing surface wherever you want it, so that a toddler artist can reach it. It made more sense to cut the sheet to the sizes we wanted and stick them in the most convenient spots, than to apply the entire length -- only tall artists would be able to reach up that high. :) One option, though, is to stick up the whole roll horizontally, for mural drawing.Chalk comes with the material, and wipes off with a damp paper towel. I can't say if reapplication of the removable chalkboard to another surface will be totally successful, because we haven't tried that yet. So far, though, the piece we cut is staying put nicely. Toddler artist keeps looking for other surfaces, however -- walls, furniture -- so we have to keep watch. And what's with every child's attempts to *eat* chalk??

I love this. It applied easily. I started out using a tool to smooth out bubbles (there weren't many), but it was actually easier to just use my hand/forearm. I pulled it away from the wall several times and it was flawless. Bubbles smoothed, wall unharmed, adhered back to the wall with ease. You can cut to suit your needs as it is a roll of blackboard paper (like a short roll of contact paper).Came with lots of chalk and wiped away perfectly with a damp cloth.

My son has had this chalkboard for almost 2 years and it is in good condition and he loves it. We use it for homeschooling.
