Korean Craftsmanship for a Clean Trim
This ROYAL nose hair trimmer, made in South Korea, is impressive! I've already tried it out, and it lives up to the claims of painless trimming. The manual, battery-free operation is a nice touch, and the brass and stainless steel construction feels premium and durable. The patented mechanism with its twelve dual-edge blades really does the job smoothly and effectively. Plus, the waterproof design makes for easy cleaning. Definitely happy with this purchase! This review represents my personal opinion and experience with this product. It works!
It cost more than I wanted to pay, but dang it works well! It's better than the battery-powered toys you can find. I had one and it never worked well. This little guy is simple, easy to use, easy to clean, and just works. Can also work on those annoying ear hairs when you get old enough to grow hairs in all the wrong places. I'm very pleased with this little tool. Would make a great gift for someone you care about, like a hairy ugly old man, like me, or some young guy you know off to college, or something. Definitely a tool for a gentleman.

Works well but requires two hands to use.
Came upon this on my search here on Amazon to replace yet another battery powered nose hair trimmer that inexplicably stopped working. I have purchased several of these AA battery trimmers made by well-known brands, at least three in recent memory. All just suddenly stopped working at some point. Change batteries, clean the battery contacts, clean the unit's blades and zip. So I thought I'd look for scissors initially but this came up during my search. Looked very much like the electric trimmers except for the scrolling wheel to manual move the cutting blades. Like that it's made in Korea and not China. Maybe that's false optimism for higher quality, but tired of soo much of the stuff I purchase here being "made in China" and it being absolute junk. So got this and tried immediately. It definitely works. Throws you off a bit in use as it's silent, was used to high pitch whine from the electric versions. It's tiny too, so will travel well and should be fine through security check points at airports but I wouldn't be surprised if it's flagged for inspection because it does resemble a real "bullet".I can see this lasting a long time, as it's been made easy to disassemble to clean. That's a positive feature here. In use, it requires two hands which for nose hair is not a big deal BUT....for ear hair (yes ewww) having to get both hands to one side of your head to use is awkward and uncomfortable. So loss of a star for that. And no I'm not asking someone else to use this on my ear. I value my relationships. I'm surprised this didn't come up for the company in testing. But I anticipate I will use this as needed and it's nice not to have to wonder if it will work when I pull it out of the drawer. It was twice the price of similar unit here "made in China" not sure if it's twice as good, but performance (for nose hair cutting) is very good, and being able to clean it well makes this something that will look and stay hygienic for a long time. I'd recommend this to a friend unless he had bushy ears.

Last nose hair trimmer you buy
This is a simple but very effective method to trim your unwanted nose and ear hairs. No battery needed and well made design gives me assurance that the unit will work for a long time. I have wasted so much money on other products but can’t wait to see how much usage I get and at a very affordable price.

Great when it worked -- Poor customer support
I purchased one of these nose hair trimmers about two years ago and initially, it was a game changer. Works so well it defeats the purpose of battery powered gadgets! Or so I thought. This product is marketed as a "Lifetime gift" and along with the stainless steel construction, I was under the impression this would be the last trimmer I buy. It lived in my toiletry bag and traveled the world with me for just under two years, when the device started to develop a rotational resistance despite proper maintenance and care. This resistance has gotten worse over time, and when I contacted customer support, they claimed this was "consumer mishandling" and denied any kind of warranty service, despite being provided high res photos of the full undamaged product. They also claim the blade interface is fragile--if this is true some kind of carrying case or protective mechanism should have been included. If a trimmer stops functioning properly due to storage in a toiletry bag, that is not suited for purpose.Go with another brand who will stand behind their products. This company isn't it.

Very cool
Soo. This is a very, interesting instrument. There is no batteries. You hand turn, it. It’s made with such precision and very smooth operation. My problem is I hit on sink to clean hairs out of it and it doesn’t work as smooth anymore. So my only advice is do not tap on sink to clean hairs out.

Good quality, great for travel
Got this to be able to trim nose hair while on a multi month trip, without having to drag around a much bigger and heavier rechargeable electric trimmer. Seems very well manufactured. Simple but elegant design. Made in Korea. Easy to use, spinning the knob. Easy to disassemble (loosen screw, pull) and wash and dry. Seems to work about as well, and about as quickly, as my electric trimmer. Comes with a nice metal case with foam padding inside.Only very minor nits or suggestions for improvement: The case seems unnecessarily large for such a small device. A longer/narrower case would be even more compact, saving more space. And the thumb screw seems an odd solution to keeping the pieces together. Wouldn't some kind of spring latch do the job, and take less space, with less risk of losing a part?
