I have a bone stock 2007 450trx ER. The old factory carb would not idle anymore even after I took it apart and cleaned it out. The accelator pump was breaking apart so I suspect that a small peace is lodged in the carb somewhere. I put on this carb and the bike wouldn’t idle down low and hold it. Still much better than the old carb. I replaced the factory 42 pilot jet with the supplied 45 and that did the trick. Then I had a high rpm sputtering problem. With the air box lid on the carb was too fat so I installed the smallest jet in the kit (170) and it still was cutting out in the upper rpm range. I then pulled the factory Khlein 122 main jet and installed it and the carb runs like a champ! The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the lack of jet sizes for stock or mildly modded quads.

Had the stock carb cleaned and jetted out. Ended up stopping the “D” shaped air/fuel mixture screw. Never could get it right. Ordered this and it came with a 190 jet in it, needle on middle pin and 40 pilot jet. Decided I’d try the combo it came with and I was 100% satisfied. Good bang for your buck considering the Honda replacement is 1100 bucks.
