This handcrafted set is made of natural rattan cane, which is free from dye and all bad chemicals, with two bowls! One has a smooth surface that allows the dough to rise nicely, the other has a spiral shape for artisan styles of bread! They are durable and also easy to clean AND there is a liner cloth you can use to make clean up even easier. You not only get the bowls and liner but a dough scraper, dough scoring tool, and basting brush! Be sure to wipe the inside of the baskets with a damp cloth and lightly spray with water and give a quick dusting of flour if you’re not using the liner!

I purchased this banneton basket set for baking artisan bread. The set is pretty inclusive with two banneton baskets (one 9 inch, one 8 inch), two fabric covers (one for each basket), a plastic bowl scraper, a metal dough scraper, a small silicone brush, and a lame with a few replacement razor blades. The baskets seem to be of reasonable construction. The covers fit as they should and are washable (I just wash them by hand). The included accessories are all very cheap in construction. The blades with the lame are quite dull and tear my bread loaves more than they cut them. I find my serrated knife works a lot better. Overall, it is a pretty comprehensive set that is adequate for anyone wanting to experiment with artisan bread making. It is priced a lot lower than other sets I’ve seen. Professional bakers may want something nicer, but for my purposes, this set works out fine.

I really love this product. The bowl scraper is the best and the cloth for the inside of the basket works great. Now, the basket is great and makes a beautiful pattern on the bread. The trick to not having the dough stick to the basket is to use rice flour, which works much better than regular flour. You have to dust quite a bit of the rice flour into the basket - more than you think you need, so do not be skimpy with the rice flour. If you do not want to use rice flour or do not have any, then use the cloth that comes with the basket to line the basket. The cloth however, does not allow the basket pattern to imprint on the bread, but makes removing the proofed dough clean and easy. This is a lovely product and I would buy it again.

Such a cute set of baskets if you're into baking breads. I've tried other alternatives to proof my bread before buying this kind of basket which didn't give me the results I wanted. So I decided to invest and using these baskets to proof my sourdough loaf, it doesn't stick if you add some flour before putting it into the basket and gives you that nice shaped loaf ready to go into the oven. The lame also works perfectly for scoring. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a kit like this for a long time! You have all the tools that you need if you are starting making your sourdough bread (well, but the pot for baking in the oven).All the pieces came perfectly wrapped and separate. I utilized all for them for my 3rd bread and it looks so good! The basket is super comfortable for the proofing, and the bread lame is super sharp! You can make almost any drawing that you want (I will try next time!)The baskets are super nice, you can use them for the proofing but also for the bread once is baked (or for the fruits ;))

So far so good! I decided to bake sourdough as many others, and glad that found this cute bread bannington. It gave the perfect moisture for my sourdough. As I am the beginner, it didn’t gave me the hard time. It also comes with utensils which is super useful and saves extra money to purchase them in separate. Planning to buy for my mom as well.

This is a really great set for the price. I bought it because I needed a couple more bannetons quick and thought it was a good price. I didn't really need the accessories but I'm glad I have them. Its always nice to have spares. Overall, the quality is good and I'm very happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend it.
